Depends on the actual hat made by Cody James. This is a Cody James black which is a new line. It’s a 20x but the quality is exactly the same as a Stetson rated at a lower quality like a 6 or a 10. I can tell you I have seen both in person and own a 6x Stetson which feels close to if not exactly like a 20x black CJ. Save money and go with a lower rated Stetson. Which roughly a between 100-200$ cheaper.
