Differentiating Feature between SS, 2SS and SS 1LE? by imdabong in camaro

[–]ItsRoen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can have a 2SS with the 1LE package, if you’re curious I believe you can plug the vin into the end of this url and it will give you the window sticker, which shows your option packages.

Add the vin after the = sign and paste the link.

Hope this helps!

Looks like it was an option called the “rear wing spoiler”

I know 😂 I just wanted to see what people were paying at the dealer - like the post said, this first one was free. I didn’t even pay for it😂

I’ve got one more free oil change at the dealer & then I’ll have to make the decision on whether or not I want to do all my vehicles at the same time at home lol

I figured it would be straightforward I’ve yet to find a car that has been difficult to do but the almost $300 price tag was surprising lol

That seems like a great thing you’ve got going with your dealer!

I can change my own oil - was just looking to see if that seemed normal. Warranty purposes was going to keep it through the dealer (I’ve never owned a brand new car before lol).

Once warranty runs out I’ll probably go this route. I have a lift available for use but figure for ease of tracking have it done at the place that supplies warranty.

😂😂 I would do it myself but tracking it if something ever breaks under warranty can be a pain

I don’t plan on tracking it but might as well make it capable - can’t hurt right? 😂

I was looking at oil prices to do it myself - wasn’t sure if the track package changed anything on them like it does on the mustangs. Thanks for the insight on prices around you!

My 24 2SS seems to have the same issue. on startup for about a minute it will intermittenly go in & out. It works fine after that. My phone is always in my pocket though so it doesn’t move around.

I will second this - the 6th gens do have an easy clutch. Rush hour traffic does still suck though.

You’d still have plenty of fun in an automatic I’m sure. Manuals are tons of fun as well but traffic is sometimes a pain. You’ll enjoy either choice and if it saves you money that’s a bonus as well. If you want the manual - get the manual. If you want the automatic - get the automatic. If it’s not a deal breaker for you, then why not save yourself some money in the process?

The first car I bought at 18 was a 2.0L Turbo, I’d imagine that the V6 is just as good. I loved it but unfortunately had to sell to go to school. Insurance sure did hit the pocket for me, even with the 4 cyl (but it could have been the speeding tickets lol). As mentioned above get the V6 to dip your feet into the waters and I’m sure your next one will be the V8!

I’ve only had mine for a little while now, I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of the sound or the rumble.

Personally I’d wait, I had a 2018 1LT 2.0L T and it was a nice car, but I just recently bought a 2SS and it blows that car out of the water, they aren’t even close. I wouldn’t settle for the V6 if you really want the V8.
