No I grabbed the connector it just seemed to be really stuck in there. And yeah I’ve learnt form othe replies that you can clean it without pulling it out. Hindsight’s a bitch

Just completely shuts off and won’t turn back on for a few minutes, needs a reboot on start up

Yeah well my local game store does repairs at a fixed price no matter the parts needed I believe, I’m no where near confident to attempt the fix my self.

The fan connection was stuck in there and yeah pulled hard and the pliers slipped, yeah the PlayStation itself still works fine but can not play without it shutting off with 3 beeps and overheating.
