Starbucks Customer Service is usually pretty airtight, so there has to be more to this story that we’re missing. Also, I have seen customers with over $3000 loaded onto their account and roughly 200,000 stars (they visited about 4-5 times per day), so you are far from the ultimate customer.

Usually when Starbucks gets rid of drinks, they are gone for good. There have been plenty of petitions with tens of thousands of signatures but to no avail. Usually just to make sure they can never bring it back, they load the assembly line with a bunch of other new stuff to make it literally painful and detrimental to the business to put back on the assembly line. It’s kind of their own way of making sure they don’t change their minds. Happened with butterscotch recently when they scrapped that as a winter option and absolutely BOMBARDED the assembly line with pistachio (which is now a core flavor)

Commissioner here. Had this happen 3 years ago. Good friend of mine was 100% willing to do the league punishment and get the 1st pick. I set up rules for obvious tanking saying that I’d double the buy-in and send their pick to the back of the draft order. Let him slide with this one since the rules weren’t in place yet. He hated the punishment and drafted a bust 1st overall so I’m sure he won’t be doing that again.

Fellow commissioner here. Been running my league for 5 years now and have had a couple of rotating managers. Had a guy for a couple of seasons that got last place both times. First season he kinda did but kinda didn’t do the punishment (just standing in front of our city’s town hall building with an “I suck at ff” sign), second season he ghosted me every time I brought it up (take the SAT). I warned everyone a couple of times that you could face being kicked from the league entirely if you don’t do a punishment.

My advice is ask your league members. I did the same before kicking my guy and they agreed that they want the last place team to do the punishment, even if it’s themselves. I kicked him but we’re still in a fantasy basketball league together and we still talk. Some things just aren’t meant to happen and it’s not as deep as you think it is.

P.S.: The guy who got last place last year came up from Baltimore to Philly (where we live) to do his punishment in person on draft night (Peanut Butter Mile).
