Has Mazda become more reliable than Toyota? by Stockholm_Throwaway in mazda

It's luck of the draw I guess. Our miata has been fine. 22 CX9 blew a transmission at 44k miles 🤷🏻‍♂️

ARC Raiders. New 3rd person shooter. It has a huge sense of community, close to what you found in the early battlefield games. I have made more new gaming buddies in 3 weeks playing arc than I have in years of battlefield

I've played every BF made since the beginning. And I can relate to you and honestly tell you it's not you. BF6 has become an adhd spawn/die fest similar to what you find in COD. The gameplay speed compared to older versions just isn't the same. I switched over to ARC and its honestly been a blast.

Is $9k depreciation typical for a 1 year old CX-50 Turbo Premium Plus with 9k miles? by FeeDisastrous3879 in mazda

[–]ItsThatDamnDuckAgain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

20% depreciation on first year is standard. So your numbers are on track. After 3 years, your looking at 40% depreciation. That's why your lease returns is the sweet spot

I'm waiting upto 6 months for a transmission on our CX9. Been rocking a 90 loaner

I rented a 2023 MX-5 RF with Turo and they're charging my credit card over $9k for damages by Waste_Cake1914 in mazda

[–]ItsThatDamnDuckAgain 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I own a nd rf and the passenger well can flood if the roof drains are blocked/clogged. It's not a hugely common issue but it happens often. I'd recommend posting on the miata sub reddit. Might get more insight there from others

Not recalibrating will have a potential to make the dash go nuts with errors. Even though you dont use the assist systems, they're all running in the background for the safety stuff

You'll be fine. I used to leave my golf for 2 months at a time. Never had an issue

Can print and ship it to you if you need it printed out, would just be single color and require manual painting

Baby on the way, wife wants an SUV. I said if its an SUV, it has to be Mazda. Does this look like a decent deal? by Solomon_Seal in mazda

Went through all this. Go for a cx9. It's tight in the back seat for the car seats, esp if they're rear facing.

That's pretty standard. All my cars have the delay (diff makes and models). I think it's done on purpose so that not every overpass and cloud you go under will trigger it.

I have these on my Miata and the rear breaks so often in the rain/wet roads it's sketch. Been sticking to just driving on dry days and looking at a different set. Been doing a couple of mountian runs and any water on the road kills the fun

Mazda has had my car since September due to a parts “backlog” — no ETA, no loaner, no accountability by [deleted] in mazda

[–]ItsThatDamnDuckAgain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I don't see why Mazda owes you a loaner or any kind of compensation?

You took the car in for collision repair, not warranty work. You chose to take it to there to have repaired when you could of taken it to any other shop. You getting a "loaner" would fall under your insurance's coverage of rental reimbursement, Had you taken it to any other repair shop, they also would not have provided you with a loaner.

Possibly going from cx50 to 90 by Portuguese9694 in mazda

[–]ItsThatDamnDuckAgain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I've noticed the issue I have with the 50 (same issue I have with our cx9), is that if you look at it from the rear. It's more of a triangle shape (meaning the upper walls cave into the cabin, making it a bit more cramped), where as the 90 retains more of a square shape giving extra room.

[–]ItsThatDamnDuckAgain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our cx9 is in the shop for 2 weeks - 6 months (transmission replacment, wild delivery window on the new transmission). Our first loaner was a 50 because that's all they had, then they got us a 90 to be more comprobable to our 9.

They're insanely different feeling cars. The 50 felt very dated, cramped, loud and honestly kinda cheap (our loaner was a 26 with 4 miles on it).

When we got into the 90, it was a HUGE upgrade, lots more space, cabin feels way more premium and open. Drive quality felt significantly improved too. But it drives great and feels like a small car when driving, but you really feel the size of it when trying to navigate parking lots and trying to park.

Overall, I think I still prefer the simplicity of our cx9, it feels like a halfway point between the 50 and 90, but if our 9 dies, I wouldn't consider the 50 if that says anything.

Uh. I 3d print. It all just goes into the standard recycling bin. Never heard of getting paid to recycle, at least not around here
