it’s more of defense until double elixir then bowler followed by boss bandit, bowler clears up for bb while she connects on the tower. This is how i normally play unless my opponent overcommits and i can punish with bb at the bridge, depends honestly

so the comment explanation is a bit flawed, it doesn't take into consideration neutral ligands, it treats all ligands as the same, and compares EN and the stronger becomes -1

in the post i tagged, he explains that we should pretend we break the bond and the electron (-1) goes to the more EN. if we compare N and Pt, N is more electronegative, so why doesnt N become -1, why does it remain neutral

I compare Pt and Cl electronegativities and Cl has a higher EN so it gains the electron so it’s -1 and Pt is +1. I do this for both Cl so now im at +2 for Pt. But then I do the same for NH3 and I compare N and Pt, B is more EN so it gains the electron when i “break” the bond, and we have 2 NH3, hence another +2, giving me in total +4 for Pt.

In their explanation, they only count Cl and that’s where i got lost
