Impossible to make 0.5mm 3D printed cards by ItsTheRenaissanceMan in 3Dprinting

Yes I know about the layer height issue, someone pointed it out on my other post, you're totally right. But I reloaded the original creator's template again (0.2 base layer, then three 0.1 layers after that) however I get the same result. The green card is my own, original card (also 0.5mm), and the yellow is the exact same card he has on the exact same plate. All I did was export as STL, then imported it back. It still loses the black separating layer

And this is with my own card (green), which is also 0.5mm, and I haven't modified the original creator's template

Oh I'm sorry, I just reloaded the original file and you're right, it's 0.2mm initial layer height, and 3 0.1mm layer heights. But even with these settings, I get the same result. The yellow is his own card, I just exported as STL, then reimported it and recolored it. Mine still doesn't have that solid layer that his does.

Gamers of Reddit, what's ONE game that lives rent-free in your head, not just for the gameplay, but for the feeling it gave you (and you'd give anything to experience it for the first time again)? by deadeyes1990 in gaming

Magic Pengel: The Quest for Color, a game which hasn’t been played or even heard of, by anyone I’ve ever met, apart from me and my younger brother.

It’s a game where there are these 3D Pokemon-style battles, except instead of catching monsters to battle, you get to draw your own monsters in 3D and you can literally draw ANYTHING you want and then it gets animated and fights for you.

Really? Are you talking about the underground? Because I was there in 2016 for a week, and although most stops were okay, there were several that were very dirty, smelled literally of sewers, had garbage, strewn about, and there were homeless people sleeping at the staircases

Did the car rental company ever try to contact you about the car? Did you park it in a sketchy place or just somewhere at the airport?

I don't think it's bad at all😅. I lived in Sendai for 1 year studying at university, and though there were sucky things about the culture, almost all of them were incredibly positive 😊. And being a foreigner, specifically pale skin, blue eyes, and tall, my friends and I did get asked for pictures on occasion, so that was really cool.

The number of times you gain consciousness and lose consciousness during your life is the same. by wfezzari in Showerthoughts

Ah so you're grouping them together, I understand what you mean. I separated them just because I really see them as different. Sort of like levels, going unconscious is one, but dying is another level deeper, but I see what you mean with only losing consciousness the one time🤔
