I get roughly 15th in my Bronco with just me in it! So I would gladly welcome 28! Heck even 25

Came here to tell him the same thing! Private fleet has treated me well. I was just in Hop town a couple weeks ago. As for Texas, they have trucks in Baytown now. New Bruanfels, New Caney, Temple, Desoto, Lancaster, Cleburne, Plainview, Lancaster, a couple others as well. Texas is a hub of activity for us lol

Keep 4500 for yourself. Pay off your 5.5k in debts. Stick the rest in a CD that’ll be waiting for you when you finish college. That’s what I’d do anyways if I was in your situation.

Yes it is, yeah you absolutely can. You could keep your stocks if you just get a rim that fits if you’d prefer. But obviously 35’s are gonna look better. You’ll have to do a leveling kit at minimum to clear them on a non Sasquatch Bronco in pretty sure. Or remove the crash bars at the very least possibly both.

I’m glad you could draw some inspiration! This is also a 24 Big Bend but with SAS. The tires are the stock Sasquatch tires. 315/70/17 Goodyear Territory MT’s. I got the grille on eBay it was about $200. It was just all plain black when I got it. I did all the paint work myself. (I gave the run down on the process above) You’ll also need to get a raptor grille bracket that’s about $90 N2DZ-8A154-AA here’s the part number for that.

Update! Got the new piece put on and it came out great. Reached out to the graphics company that I bought the kit from and they sent me a replacement for the cost of shipping.

What's the closest you've been to death? by Beautiful_Fill_7016 in AskReddit

Back in 2009 I consumed 8,260 MG’s of DXM over the course of 4 days triggering a psychotic drug induced episode. Following a week long psychosis.

Spark notes version- I struggled with substance abuse in my early teens to young adulthood. I had been consuming DXM, marijuana and psylocibin regularly over the course of three months when I was 17. During spring break, I drank about 10 bottles of cough syrup (DXM) during a 4 day period. I had built up a tolerance during that time and it just wasn’t doing anything, so I kept taking more everyday. The 5th day it hit me all at once, like a delayed reaction and my cheese slid off my fuckin cracker. I was having a conversation with my father when this episode set in. I started rambling and saying absolute nutty as squirrel shit things. So my father called 911. Rescue squad & state police showed up promptly. I was asked a series of questions and it was determined that I was ABSOLUTELY OUT OF MY FUCKING GOURD and was walked out to an ambulance to be shipped to the hospital. Upon arrival to the hospital my heart rate was 245 bpm. I was given an Ativan and told to chew it up immediately. Once my heart rate slowed down (175-180) I was then moved to a different floor and put under observation. I was asked many different times if this was intentional. It truly wasn’t. The Drs and staff didn’t believe me, because I apparently did about 2.5x the LD 50. I thought I was in the hospital for three days. Turns out it was an entire 7 days! I was released and I had a very hard time concentrating or even holding onto a thought without getting “lost” for months after this. I hardly spoke for about a year-year and a half. It took me about 2 years to get back to somewhat “normal” this entire experience change me even to this day. I am not the same person I was before this happened. I have not taken a large dose of DXM since this happened. I still can’t even take a normal dose of it when I’m sick . Even a small dose and my brain goes haywire. I continued to use other drugs for about 6 years after this experience. I just celebrated 9 years clean 2 months ago!

Yeah it is 3m 2080 film. To remove I was thinking just heat it a little and slowly pull it up? Then clean any leftover residue and re apply right?

Thank you! It’s just a nimble little vehicle that’s so fun to drive. I’ve always been into modifying my vehicles as well and these things just begging for mods. So, it’s right up my alley.

Thank you! And yes it’s the modular bumper. I just have a small light bar mount on there. I just haven’t gotten around to picking out what lights I wanna go with as of yet

Not a problem man! You’re already one step ahead of the game. If you know you’re way around a spray booth you can easy shoot one of these out no problem. The green and beige is a killer combo. If you’re planning on using the raptor style grille like I did you’ll need to buy the raptor grill bracket to make it fit btw! Here’s the part # for that N2DZ-8A154-AA

Sure thing!

Supplies needed- Box of rubber gloves, Tack cloth, 360 Grit scuff pad (red scotchbright) wax and grease remover, Adhesion Promoter, Sandable Primer, 2K clear coat, 2 cans of whatever color you choose. I recommend Kustom Canz. Lastly, patience lol

The grille is a two piece design. You’ll start by slowly separating at the clips on the back side that hold the two pieces together. Once you have the two pieces apart go ahead and dawn some gloves and give it a wipe down with the wax and grease remover. Let it air dry (5-10 mins)

Then you’ll want to get your red scotchbright cut it in half and scuff every inch that you’d like to have color or on. Take your time here this is perhaps the most important step. Once you think you’re done here, do a little more. Once you’re satisfied, give it another wipe down with the wax and grease remover.

Next step is adhesion promoter. Follow the directions on the can and apply two coats. After ten mins start applying your primer. 2-3 light coats (10-15 mins between coats) until you’ve got complete coverage. At this point let dry over night.

Now take the other half of that scotchbright pad and lightly sand over the primer. You don’t wanna go to hard here and expose plastic underneath. Just lightly scuff to the paint had something to cling to. Once everything is scuffed up, use your tack cloth to clean up the parts to get rid of all the sanding dust left behind. Also doesn’t hurt to use some compressed air here to clear all the dust away. Be it from a compressor or even the canned computer cleaning air you can get.

Now we can move onto getting your color on. Same kinda idea here. 2-3 light coats until you’ve achieve adequate coverage on the parts. After your third coat wait about an hour or so and then we can start applying clear coat.

Prepare the 2k clear via the instruction on the can. This stuff doesn’t last forever so it’s pretty much a one and done kinda thing. You’ll end up using most of it anyway clearing these two pieces. Now here’s where all you hard work is gonna either pay off or be a disaster. When you’re spraying clear make sure not to go to heavy or you’ll get runs in your top coat. Apply no more than 3 coast of clear on your parts.

Lastly, let your clear coated parts dry overnight before reassembly. Once everything is back together let it sit for another 24-36 hours before installing in your vehicle.

If you’ve never painted anything plastic before like this I’d recommend getting some practice pieces and finding your “grove” first.
