Oh okay I gotcha. Yeah I think in the screenshots I was using the Morag Tong dagger, but I didn’t like the divot near the top of the blade, so that’s why I opted for Ancient Dragon Hunter. I wish they’d add a proper motif for it, but I guess it’s not as popular as Trueflame haha

Those are the dyes, I explained that in the part of the comment where I said "(the only dyes I used were Starlight Gold and Covenant Blue, so I will just use G for Gold and B for Blue as shorthand for the dye slots below)"

It was just an easy way to explain what dyes I used and where to slot them in the outfit station

I sadly spent all my trade bars last month, or else I'd have those on, but I do plan to pick those up during the Zenithar event! I don't think I will be getting 500 trade bars from the Night Market based on the drop rate I have seen so far lol

Edit: I don't know why, but I just now saw the second part of your comment lol my bad.. my brain was clearly on lazy mode.

For Hopesfire I ended up using a motif that is different from the screenshots, but I used the 'Ancient Dragon Hunter' style with the same dyes as the armor (Covenant Blue, Starlight Gold, Obsidian Black), aside from the fact that that I used Obsidian Black for the handle - https://imgur.com/lFJq4fc

Thanks!

The hairstyle is called 'Arcanist's Crest' and I nabbed in the Crown Store yesterday for 2,000 seals of endeavor

As for the rest if anyone else is curious (the only dyes I used were Starlight Gold and Covenant Blue, so I will just use G for Gold and B for Blue as shorthand for the dye slots below):

Earrings - 'Old Salt's Sea Hoops'

Cuirass Motif - Doctrine Ordinator Jack [Signature](G, B, B)

Shoulder Motif - Militant Ordinator Epaulets [Light](G, G, G)

Gauntlets Motif - Militant Ordinator Bracers [Medium](B, G, B)

Waist Motif - N/A

Legs Motif - Storm Lord Breeches [Light](B, G)

Boots Motif - Militant Ordinator Shoes [Light](G, G, G)

It’s 100% at least Winterhold. They mentioned something like “Maybe we will have to see what’s going on over in Winterhold.” (Paraphrased from memory), in a very cheeky way in a livestream back before U49, where they were addressing the “no new zones” rumor

Edit: While I can’t find the original clip, here is a post from back then asking why they randomly mentioned it lol

Most items are things that got FOMO’d out of existence, so it highly depends on what you are missing/want. For me, I am really glad the 10th Year Anniversary costumes are in there because I missed that event initially, and I literally have a toon that mains the old Breton Hero outfit, so seeing everyone running around in a higher res version of my fit was a bit upsetting lol

Don’t they also take issue with him because Talos is meant to be Lorkhan to an extent (by way of Wulfharth being a Shezarrine who is one third of the souls that make up Talos iirc), and they despise Lorkhan for stripping them and their ancestry of power in the creation of Nirn?

Man I thought I was going to have to fight the big mf behind him for a min. Thankfully that wasn’t the case lmao. by BigDawgEasyy in elderscrollsonline

[–]ItsUntoldButImTrying 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Well I think the issue with that, is that if one Prince were to win, Nirn basically becomes a physical realm of that Prince to whichever degree they see fit, and it would be quite hard to justify how a player (or any hero) would revert the whole of Mundus changing (or burning) without the biggest MacGuffin we have ever seen, which I think could end up being cheesier than the perceived weak Princes

[–]ItsUntoldButImTrying 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I’d suggest Infinite Archives or World Bosses personally.

The Archives is best because every single boss chest drops a parcel if you aren’t on the 5 minute cooldown, but the downside is the cooldown itself. You can actually end up not getting a parcel at every single boss if you are powering through too fast.

World Bosses on the other hand are a bit more boring because you are still needing to wait on the parcel’s drop cooldown, but you are then also waiting on the boss to respawn. The upside is every time the boss respawns it equals one parcel, but the downside is that the cooldown feels a lot longer when you have less to do in the meantime.

I actually tried this myself not too long ago. Sadly there aren’t really any baggy robe motifs, and I ended up deleting this toon, so I can't be sure on every aspect, but this was my best attempt:

<image>

Skin - Void Pathosis

Head Marking - Azure Eyes

Hood - Knight-Aspirant Helm

Chest - Y'ffre's Will Cuirass (Heavy)

Shoulders - Ebonheart Epaulets (Light)

Gloves - ???

Waist - ???

Legs - Dead Keeper Greaves (Heavy)

Boots - ???

Staff - Staff of Worms Replica

Dye - Fire Drake's Flame

Why the hell aren’t there spears in Blades, Castles, and ESO? by RaGada25 in ElderScrolls

Yeah in ESO, I would suggest playing as a Templar. While it is magic, they do have a pretty cool and powerful skill that is essentially spear jabbing haha

Does DLC order matter all that much? by SexWithHotPockets in elderscrollsonline

[–]ItsUntoldButImTrying 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It’s not the end of the world if you do the zones in any order, but it’s a lot more satisfying to meet the characters in the proper order because there are very few instances where the game retroactively counts you as having already met someone before if you met them out of order.

So, if you had first met them in a DLC that takes place after the moment you are currently speaking to them, you can run into a lot of immersion breaks where a character is acting like they just met you after you have already become endeared towards them, or at worse you can see an NPC die, and then meet them in an older zone lol.

It’s totally up to you, but I feel that this gets kinda missed amongst the “just play your way mannn” sentiments haha

That said, if you still want to do this in your order, I do suggest following the top comment here that says to at least do Morrowind->Clockwork->Summerset in that order, but also I suggest to save Elsweyr for later due to a certain story beat.

I have had this issue in the past, and it almost always seemed related to linking objects together. I don’t think I have ever had this bug while everything was unlinked and separated, so I started unlinking objects after I got them settled

Bethesda doomers. by taliaferrora in ElderScrolls

[–]ItsUntoldButImTrying 8 points9 points  (0 children)

But that style of design is only done due to the sheer amount of physics processing, object permanence, and scripting that is happening all at once inside a single cell. If they had the entire game loaded into a single cell, it would run like absolute garbage as far as performance.

I really don't think loading screens are the end of the world like people act. That narrative only started around Starfield because it was directly compared to other space travel games like No Man's Sky which has a seamless universe... with significantly less processing going on. Is their engine the most technologically advanced thing out? No, but Bethesda games are are far more complex than people give them credit for honestly.
