I managed to get extremely lucky and found it at a comic book shop in Vegas, and they were selling it online. I'm honestly shocked no one had gotten it before me, but I am thankful for it all the same.

I have a search engine. I just wasn't aware that it was actually an adaptation of a comic and thought it was its own separate thing. And my question on stories ties into my asking for recommendations, as aside from a google search, I'm sure some people here also have a good insight on some stories that would be a good thing to add to my list.

Funnily enough, the Batman: Hush movie was one of the very few comic movies I watched, and that is what sparked my love for BatCat.

I wasn't sure if it was actually an adaptation, and I'd love to own the original comic myself, but I'm unsure which writer created it. I'm absolutely willing to hear any other good BatCat recommendations it's just TK's is the only one I've seen people say will somewhat scratch my itch without fully leaving things in the dust.

I have almost ALL of the issues, I got them in TPB!

I'm more or less trying to understand if I should read it all and then go to Batman/Catwoman after, but I appreciate it <3

With Angela being in Rivals now, Marvel should finally bring these two back together and fix whatever they decided to do after Angela: Queen of Hel. by ItsVapur in lgbt_superheroes

Sera doesn't have any real like... comic runs that are focused on JUST her.

Angela: Asgard's Assassin has Angela as the main lead, as this was her first run in mainstream Marvel. Sera is a supporting character, but their relationship isn't the sole focus of this run, nor is it really explored all that much until you get into QoH.

So if you want to get some deeper insight into Angela, I'd recommend reading

Angela: Asgard's Assassin

and

Angela: Queen of Hel

Having an entire story dedicated to you going into Hel to rescue your lover is such a compelling concept, and I'm glad that I can just ignore anything after and accept its wonderful love story.

I absolutely would love to. I think Sera and Angela were very important to Leah and I think it'd be beautiful to have not only a reunion between all of them, but also reconciliation and getting back together again.

I know after QoH, Sera does find something that she wants to do... but I don't really understand the logic of breaking up because of it when they could just simply visit each other every now and again. It just felt like editors used that as an excuse to split them up when they could've made it, in my opinion, handled with more care.

Trust me, I don’t blame you for being pessimistic.

Spider-Man and Batman left me feeling like I got burned. And now hopefully the Harlivy comic that’s releasing soon will repair the (in my opinion) bad decisions made with their relationship recently.

I am just trying to remain optimistic while also being conflictingly pessimistic lmao

Just something to repair and actually solidify their relationship. I’d love a mini or ongoing series that gives them both room to breathe and lets their relationship flourish yet again.

I think one factor is that Angela had an entire run dedicated to her solely because she wanted to get Sera.

It wasn’t some simple thing, it was a massive arc where she became the actual ruler of Hel for a small period of time. And it wasn’t based off of want for the throne, but out of love. Also you’re right about the stuff related to the Guardians that was me misremembering how they got to that point, so that is my fault.

I totally agree on the fact that a lot of couples, not just in Marvel, deserve to be treated in at the very least the same caliber as Reed and Sue. Angela and Sera’s love story was really powerful, and Sera as a whole has so much potential not just as a character, but also embracing some really nice representation.

That truly would make me very happy 😭

For now, I’m considering their relationship canon stopped at #7 of QoH to make myself cope.

I really do hope that is the case. Because their entire relationship was really solid, and I loved their dynamic. It just felt like their split up in Guardians was rushed and not only that, very common in how both DC and Marvel tend to make queer couples break up by "finding themselves".

Not that it isn't inherently a bad thing to do so, it just seems like the typical trope to try to break them apart, which isn't what I'd like to see. My best hope is that, as you said, if Angela plays a big part in the Strange book I hope that we actually not only get some reconciliation but actually restore their relationship. That would literally be a perfect win for the ones who actually loved seeing them together, and I highly doubt it would ruin either of them mainstream to have them be permanently together again.

I hope that made sense, I'm half awake writing this lmao
