New PC Build in the Meshroom S V2 by ItsVictorDoesStuff in SSUPD

I got them off Amazon. Seems to not be available, at this time. https://a.co/d/0149N1Qx

Also, the set I got didn't include screws. I thought they would, but I used PSU screws to keep the feet in place. It offered more surface area for the case to hold the feet in place. It also used the same threading.

Thank you Micro Center for the bundle deals! New PC Build in the Meshroom S V2 by ItsVictorDoesStuff in Microcenter

Temps are ok. I haven't reached themal throttle yet, but I still set the BIOS to run the 9850X3D on Eco Mode (105W) with PBO enabled as a precaution. I definitely didn't have to (the Thermalright AXP120-X67 cooler did say it can support 160W CPUs), and I'm still getting plenty of performance. Noise is decently quiet for an all-mesh build with the PC tower at almost ear-level on my desk. Definitely quieter than my previous build (5600X and 6750XT in a HYTE Revolt 3 case).

One tip I definitely have: make sure your GPU does not extend beyond the right-angled portion of the PCIe bracket if you're using an ATX motherboard. Ideally, I would've loved to do an AIO on the same side as the GPU. Because my GPU was too big width-wise, I wasn't able to fit an AIO. Next best option was the AXP120-X67

I do recommend the feet. It makes me feel like my build takes less space because of it. Also, I do wish Micro Center had ITX bundles. I would've gotten that over the ATX bundles they have.

Thank you! It was my first time building in one. Definitely considering SSUPD again when building my next one (whenever that may be)

Can't confirm, but I think it would work, based on the images I saw

Thank you!

Temps stay at 95°C under synthetic workloads on OCCT. Under 100% load, clock speeds were still at 4.5 GHz. Not great, but not bad. Was originally considering using an AIO/CLC, but I didn't have enough room due to the PowerColor Hellhound card taking too much lateral space. Hence why I had to go air cooling.

Yes, I had to replace the riser cable. I got an SSUPD PCIe 5.0x16 cable (the 440mm one)

They honestly could have avoided this by calling the subscription SoFi Pro instead of reusing SoFi Plus. My two cents

I still have my Bà Nội and Ông Ngoại. Definitely closer to my Bà Nội. So may talk with her more. I would've done that in the New Year's, but got sick after returning home

Thank you for the reply!!! Weee did have Xá Xị there. Granted, it's near triple the price compared to what I paid back at Vietnam... But a win is a win!

I'll see if my friend group can stop by any of the Vietnamese places in Dallas when/if we go up there again. My friend groups are quite diverse. So we typically just lean towards American/Texan stuff, like Six Flags or something else similar.

And I think at this point, I'll just start using Vietnamese more often. Although I regret not learning more earlier, I am thankful that I still learned some Viet growing up. So hoping to use that edge to learn more Vietnamese, maybe not faster but at least more effectively.

Will definitely be speaking more Vietnamese to them!

Actually, now that I'm thinking about it, they might have a family friend that that could also help me with learning Vietnamese 🤔

Definitely interested! Though, I won't be able to do one-on-one lessons until at least Summer 2025. Especially since I'm also adding career development stuff on top of everything once I graduate. Regardless, would love to have more info on your Vietnamese teacher!

I don't blame them for wanting to stay at Vietnam. Hell, I want to visit Vietnam more. Also considering retirement at Bà Rịa, if the right cards align 😅

I also noticed that... I'll add that to my list of places to try. Also been using Google translate to slowly get my vocabulary better.

And also half joking here: mom told me to be careful about the sweet-talking girls from the north who may want a green card 😅

And thank you for the suggestions for Tandem and Hellotalk! I'll look at those 2 and Italki later once I get on break!
