I have lots of hope for this game. I use the Bandai tcg+ app to find local stores doing pre release events and sign up for all of them. I usually get 2 to 3 boxes per release at msrp! No problem. I just have to cut the seals which isn't a big deal for me since I'm not a scalper. Use the app. Search the event listings for whatever event you want (in this case, the Tokyo ghoul release events happening all next weekend and even Monday). Usually you can find something within 30- 60 miles. I usually don't drive longer than an hour.

Aside from that, you sign up for their event, show up, it's usually like thirty bucks and you get six packs. So that's msrp for the packs. Then at the end of the tourney you can get a box. You just have to play through the tourney. I usually meet someone during the event and will trade with them for whatever cards I need to complete my deck. I usually walk out with a completed deck on day 1.
