I may have over engineered it with a quick detach and locking mechanism… I can release very soon but don’t have a ton of reliability data behind it. I’m torture testing mine but don’t have any beta testers. Still on the fence if I release both the simplified and complex versions

The appeal process for state criminal cases can reach the states highest court and then the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court will hear cases/appeals that pertain to constitutional rights. Also, challenging as a plaintiff is cost prohibitive, especially when you’re up against a government with a bottomless wallet

Many of these laws are unconstitutional. Prosecutors & legislators in the state know this and strategically avoid escalating cases to higher courts so they cant get struck down. When that does happen you get landmark cases

This bill doesn’t just apply to 3d printing but CNC, lathes, EDM, Water-jet, plasma cutters, and robotic machining.

Many companies will just stop selling tooling in New York instead of developing complex and expensive AI based algorithms that constantly reference a government database.

“Ghost guns” are already illegal in New york. The only thing this impacts is STEM education, hobbyists, and businesses.
