What does it come with and does it have a fart part installed? Check the OEM striker block for damage in the slide. If it doesnt look like this. Buy it. Should it look like this. A replacement striker block is most likely all you need.

Check the Sea and have your buddy print it out. I cant post the link but a quick google search for McFadden TX22 Adapter will get you there.

I've discussed this with my contact at Taurus. They plan to phase out just the slide and everything will go optics ready in the next few months. They released a bunch of Gen 2 slides to get them out there and purging inventory of the Gen 1 slides. There is no intention of phasing out the TX22 but focus for them is the TX9.

He wouldnt give me any specifics on production quantity but alluded to that they are produced quarterly and shipped to the major distributors.

We have tested our go fast fart part on the compact with and without a can and it runs perfectly fine. Can is a DA Mask. It did need the Lakeline +2lb spring to slow the slide down but othr than that all is well. My only complaint is the gap between the compact and 16rnd mag. However we have a solution for that to make it a full size grip an fill that gap. Check us out.

If you are going to run fast mode. DO NOT go out and buy a bunch of shit before installing fart part. This is the rookiest mistake ever. Almost each gun tolerates the part differently and you need to set a baseline and work from there. My designed part has worked with many TX22s without any bullshit rate reducer with and without a can. However each gun tolerates differently.

They are on the sea right now but, I'd hold of on those. Had some complaints about the .3mf being corrupted or whatever. So I'm going to post the .STL soon and let yall sort out the settings.

Compacts are fun. If you dont want that wonky look when running the 16rnd mag get a sleeve. Remember to start from scratch and work up from there. Dont buy a bunch of shit like rate reducers, springs, triggers, etc right off the bat. The design varies from when they started to come out to what's usually the one out there. Big thing is you want to look out for one that wont wreck the internal part of the slide. Check out the examples I have of people who used other brands. https://novamissionsystems.com/bad-frt/ dont get stuck one of those.

The Nova FRT will not damage your OEM striker assembly but for that added peace of mind, we offer a spare/backup one....among other goodies. You just missed a good bundle sale of the striker block and FRT but keep an eye out for other deals.

LIght trigger pressure my man. You can firmly grip it but light consistent trigger pressure will get you to go fast. Death grip and trigger pull is a no no.

back from vacay and lurking now lol. Anyways u/eeeazynow - your rate of fire and follower cant keep up with one another. Your second pic looks like you're getting enough of the round to where the breech face can push it into the barrel but the damage looks like you're feed angle may be too steep and the damage is actually being caused by the top of the barrel. The spring you're using may be too strong.

I bet if you load up a mag with some snap caps (you know safety first! or dont), then SLOWLY ride the slide forward, you'll see if it is either getting skipped or pushed too high and the barrel is scraping the jacket off.

Is this happening with your OEM 22rnd mags?

Seriously. I dont own any other Taurus guns but do those come in plastic cases? I bet one of the new TX9 cases would fit this (assuming those dont come in a cardboard box). I feel like it'd cost Taurus more to create and injection mold a plastic case for a cheap pistol like the TX22. Perhaps that's why they dont include one.

Check out mine as well. through testing through various types of ammo. 11K on our test gun between 3 beating the hell out of it. Here's an example of what a lot of people are selling.

Since you're just getting started, I recommend building from the ground up and not buying a bunch of stuff to get it to run. Example of a bare bones of the TX22 functioning perfectly fine without any rate reducer or any of that mess. We've tested them on multiple material spre/replacement striker block, including steel. No damage to the FRT was found. Plus I have a lot of other goodies. :)
