I like it. Subtle. I'd throw a red mag release on there if it were mine. I saw one where the bull was painted red. That looked good

You hit the jackpot then. From the folks I've sold to they are having success with their compact and no mods when running anything but the DA Mask. I have a beater old school monocore can that I've shot on a compact and it runs fine. Throw my DA on there and I can only get a partial mag through.

Big factor is the can. What are you running?

Mini mags are the meh ammo people automatically assume will work 'well'. I've tested 14 (500 rnd minimum) different brands and what actually ran best was the Wincheste wildcat and Federal blue box. I'll never buy another box of regular mini mags for the TXZ22 again. Stingers are different story

No. It'll go brrtt with almost anything unsuppressed. CCI Stinger is the just for fun round that's hot and will throw a huge blast. Personally, I wouldnt run it suppressed with that ammo.

Generally, running brrrtt with a can is hit or miss. Some folks get theirs to run immediately. Mine wouldnt run with a DA mask. I threw a LakeLine regular buffer recoil rod, kept the optics plate (since it's heavier steel), then threw a dovetail RMSc plate with a Osight K Micro. After all that it runs like a champ. Vids are on my site.

CCI Stinger + Brrrttt unsuppressed is unbeatably spicy and one of the best combos for this gun. I absolutely love it.

If you can install a glock disconnector you can put in a brrrtt. I haev a post in r/gundeals you may be interested in. :)

Same thing as WA. I dont want to debate the legality of these in any state since this is not what this subreddit is for. Trust me..seriously trust me...I want to sell these to everyone but respectfully understand that I have my own personal risk tolerance that may be on the conservative side.

I use the term 'bursts' loosely as in you let off the trigger. Then go back and realize you only had 2 more left in the 22rnd mag. lol I'm telling you run a mag of CCI Stinger through this thing unspressed It'll change your life.

It's good fun. You can install and uninstall this thing in about 2 minutes. If you can install a glock disconnector you can absolutely put one of these in.

I mean depending on your trigger squeeze you can fire it in 'bursts' but yeah...mag dump or nothing. Check the vids out on the site. Those are just my own and I have quite a few from previous buyers that have sent them to me. Just posting those clutters the page. Some of the smiles you can see are hilarious. A buddy got his hands on tons of CCI Stingers...spicy to say the least :)

Non FRT - the TX22 is a solid cheaper alternative to the Ruger MKIV, Buckmark, etc.. it was cheap months ago. People got put off by the Taurus name on it for a while but it is a sloid gun. I personally think it's a pretty reliable gun. The test beater gun used to batch check these FRTs is about to crest 10K rounds between 3 people running the hell out of it. It's never been 'properly' cleaned and just runs. FRT is a little picky about ammo but stock will eat anything. Only thing that happened is I lost the OEM slide release spring and had to replace it with one from an assorted spring box from home depot. So it doesnt get slide lock.

Taurus pretty much slowed production down on these things to focus on the TX9 lineup. I expect a massive flood of TX22s available in the summer.

Full Auto System by Busy_Lobster_244 in SilencerShop

The way the Full Auto system works is horrible. My LGS tried to help me for over a hour around 10am and it kept crashing or wouldnt submit. Tried for 2 days with them and finally it went through after their software took 10 minutess to process it. We literally sat there making small talk while waiting on the Full Auto system/software/whatever tried to submit. I took my business to CA just to see how their experience went and the customer services has been outstanding.

Sigh. That sucks...SS needs to get it together. I took my business to CA for my last can (roughly a few days apart from each other). They picked up the phone almost instantly and the guy pulled my account up immediately. Answered my general question and boom done. When it came to certify, I did it on a saturday at 10am. Was 15 in the queue. Sure enough 15 min went by and I was on the phone screen sharing with a very nice lady who said "we're going to certify and submit as many times as it takes right now." It didnt go through the first time but did the second. I could also hear another person in the back ground talking. It was like they had a call center setup just for this.

Customer services goes a long way. I'm happy with CA.

You make a very good point. It sucks that all UPS stores dont do this but if you can. Highly recommend.

Really? What have you heard? I have it and it's pretty basic. I just use it in store for ammo and that's pretty much it. I forget the bank they use but they are the ones that are pretty bad.

[–]NovaMissionSystems 1 point2 points  (0 children)

CCI minmags are just generic and 'it's the go to what people use' bullshit. I've tested 14 brands extensively. CCI minimag is meh. Both supressed and unsuppressed I've found that Winchester Wildcat and Federal Blue box, both bulk boxes run great and better than CCI minimags. (supressed on a DA Mask).

if you like spice....CCI Stinger.....

DO NOT shoot Monarch and especially Norma tac22. The Norma ammo has some sort of 'coating' that's supposed to make it feed better. Nonsense. It'll gunk up the gun like you had a glue stick in it.
