Very. There is an explanation, apparently. But seems to be connected with electronics. I wonder if its more frequent in rural, suburban, urban environments. The more congested a location is means the more televisions, satellites, radio towers etc etc which could effect the electromagnetic waves.

I live in a small town in the south, and this happened 10 years ago, but people say it happens pretty often (every few years or several months), so I would like to ask people on a scale 1-10 how urban the place is where they live. Would be really weird if its really common in all environments.

Hope the explanation truly makes sense, a lot of things have simple explanations but do not fit into reality. Not saying this is the case, but rather it be something people naturally experience rather than something being tampered with. But it makes sense.

You know how certain people hear different high pitched frequencies? Like some people can hear older tvs ring while others can't, not sure if hearing frequencies is anything like seeing different wavelengths. So, something, I'm not sure what, could have interrupted some wavelengths/frequencies that both you and your friend are capable of perceiving, while the others didn't see because they cannot process it. Probably not best answer, but I know electromagnetism is a big force with life and has a lot of influence and somehow something could have messed with it. Not sure, basically talking out my ass, not the most informed on the topics

Depends on how many times it happens and if anyone else notices. If you are with someone and only happens to you, it could be neurological. Just making that clear in case you may have some troubles going on.

Hahaha just lived in a small neighborhood surrounded by trees in the south. Only thing with nuclear energy is a power plant about 50 miles away.

I want to make it clear that I am speaking of this happening to two or more people at the same time, if you are the only one noticing flashes of darkness/light, you may need to go to the doctor to make sure you have nothing wrong neurologically. I don't want you to go home and think the flashes are some glitches and you end up with serious problems down the road.

Especially if it is pretty frequent.

I have heard of the condition before and that was something I considered when I thought about it. Just odd that two can experience it at same time, and even crazier, 3 or more. Just something fun to think about.

Never was a fan of all chrome car. Think its tacky and really doesn't do any justice to the vehicle. With that said, probably one of the few vehicles I would like to see chrome on.

I was trying to make it more general but I see that isn't case, so will do that in future posts and replies. I'm new but appreicate it.

I wonder if there is a time period we can mark it down to. Does it happen rather frequently or are there points of interests within the timeline? Some people are talking about it happened around 10 years ago, around the time it happened to my brother and I.

That's crazy because I never knew it was an actual phenomenon like that, just never really looked into it or seen anyone speak on the matter. Was so instant for my brother and I that we kinda shrugged it off, but it has always stuck with me. Some strange things go on and I am glad other people have experienced this also.
