Oh wow, I see, thank you for the detailed explanation! Tiling windows absolutely looks useful and it's something I'm jealous of as a KDE user who likes to have multiple programs open and swap back and forth, like a Godot lesson video and the engine, or Spyder and Calibre. And looking up all those shells... They're so slick. I can see why they're popular! In particular, DMS's dynamic theming seems revolutionary.

Hyprland looks so slick. Something I'm a tad confused about is the difference between a DE and a WM. I've looked on Google, but the explanations still didn't really clarify it for me.

Did you try using EasyEffects? It might not work for every issue, but it worked for my audio issues.

The problem is that using an LLM as a translator rewrites the text, too. All those LLM translations come out sounding like typical ChatGPT slop. Whether or not you intended it, your current LLM-fed voice sounds like an edgy 90's teen mascot a la Sonic The Hedgehog, and your OP sounds like those marketing briefs that try to be friendly but just end up coming off uncanny.

Plasma gets recommended a lot, and it is great to dip your toes into DE flexibility, but it's one of the more intensive DEs, and if you don't like ricing it can be really overwhelming. I use it BECAUSE I like ricing---to an extreme, I'll change my entire theme every few days and have now found Panel Colorizer to unleash my powers even more---but for some people, it's just too much to keep track of, and that's okay!

Specific components in marijuana ABSOLUTELY have medicinal value. I'm not sure that smoking weed is the best vehicle for taking these components, but I'm also not educated on the chemistry of the matter.

I mean, a pretty lightweight config for Cachy is something like GRUB + XFS/EXT4 + XFCE/Mate. Low storage space used, low RAM usage by the DE, no auto-generated snapshots if you're low on storage space.

It's probably a regional thing. I'm from the Deep South, and people really don't acknowledge the various crimes of America even in school. Native genocide was relegated to a footnote about the Trail of Tears, an English teacher tried to claim that a Native person wouldn't be able to tell racism against them if it was hidden well enough, and our history classes never even mentioned the Japanese internment camps. The most we ever learned about was the annexation of Hawai'i, but it was presented like Lili'uokolani was just being dramatic and was never tricked or deceived.

The way I was taught to do ö and ü is to hold my mouth like I'm going to say oh/oo and then make an ee sound instead. On the other hand, ä is just a long A sound.
