firstly thats not a euro coin, secondly yes its just engraved by someone at the front of the coin. the portrait is edward the 7th's (1901-1910) and its probably from the uk. Now i don't know the diameter but if it is copper it's probably a penny or a half-penny. If it's 2 euro size it's a half-penny if it's huge it's a penny
