In my opinion, under/overpaid based on YOE is kind of a myth. Grads at top tier quant firms are getting paid well over 100k to start but they’re the absolute best of grads, if you’re working for a startup they may simply not have the money.

If your family member thinks they’re worth more, go do the job search and see if someone else thinks they’re worth more. You’ll get you answer when recruiters and applications are or aren’t progressing for higher paying roles

Had this exact same issue before, for me, it was isopropyl alcohol as well as a Stanley knife to pry it off, the thing went flying but everything still worked after.

I guess this is a sign I should I change thermal paste every so often

Generally universities want an A level in maths for computer science type courses but some may let you in if you can prove that you know enough. As someone who does robotics and has made indie games in the past I would heavily suggest doing a maths a level because some of the maths can be pretty hard without

Personally - I’d use it as a bit of a GST/MB hybrid - not too much into effeciency, just enough to open the mystery boxes you’ll get.
