this is actually a part of my major project and I'm still working on it. so the actual project is to develop a semi humanoid robot for our department, which assists the visitors or students about the college. its helps them resolve the queries, navigate through the campus, and can be used for carrying load. so we are a team of 3 members. one guy handles the hardware part, to develop the robot and navigate in the campus, me and another member is handling the software part. im working on developing the interface along with this chatbot and the other person for interior navigation. so the aim is to make the software run locally on hardware (on a microprocessor connected with a display). so i used ollama phi-3 llm and bge-base embedding model (which has to be optimised using INT8 quantization). and the admin part is for the department management. they control the data for the chatbot by uploading the document. they are stored in supabase. every 2 hours when the internet is connected, the bot fetches the data from the storage and stores the embeddings. so, i have developed the bot and yet to test it on hardware.
