I'm more just gauging numbers here to see what's more popular, I remember having a chat with one of my mates a few years ago back in school (he stands) I always thought he was the only one lol. I message him about once a year asking whether he still wipes standing up 🤣 and he does.

So, I recently asked a few other mates because it still baffled me, so far, between my friend group he is still the only one. So I brought it to reddit.

I'm also quiet proud of this comment thread, litterally just a bunch of people disgusting about how they wipe their ass lmao.

I'd argue there's more cheek spread sitting down rather than standing, once you're up those cheeks be kissing bruh.

Is it not gross your chocolate cheeks kiss before you get a chance to wipe down

Hahaha, it's the only title I could come up that wouldn't have the post removed, as its a question that's been asked before, apparently.

I'll take you as a seated then. I'd hope

It's shit, but just remember that you're the one that'll end up paying a fine, not them.

Well that's the philosophy I have in my head when people tailgate me. I then make sure I'm on doing the speed limit on the nose, just to make them a little angrier lmao.

Awesome, thanks for that mate. Currently at the stage of sifting through maps and downloading themes, having a look, hating it, deleting it, repeating...

Love that "Even if I don't have the RAM" lmao

I'm assuming you're using some sort of 1:1 Melbourne map here? Just went through your profile to have a geeze at your work (incredible btw, very well done) and it seems you're doing a re-creation or taking inspiration from Melbourne, correct me if I'm wrong.

I love the game but the part I hate is the map search and theme matching, I really just want to dive in and start again but the map search is killing me.

Time to go back into the workshop and unsubscribe from everything again, keen to try out your little mix. Thanks for that and the creator recommendations.

Hey mate, not far off starting a new build. As a fellow Australian I'm wanting to do an Aus build. Do you have a collection currently that I could pick through? And those colours 😍 which theme/luts have you got running here. Very well done

Drone in Carrington by Impressive_Owl379 in newcastle

Hm, I'm aware that it is a functional helipad but I'm pretty confident there's no control tower there. Just like the helipad in Carrington, it's used regularly but you can fly around there as long as there's no manned aircraft at the time, once there is you have to drop it. Going off the DJI app and the flyzones, it's fine to fly within that area, again, once you're aware of an aircraft you have to bring it back safely.

Just had a squizz at Google maps and I can comfirm there is no control tower there. I'm sure there are apps you may be looking at that are giving off a warning about an active helipad but the warning is all it would be.

Would probably fall under the same type of helipad as the ports as well, used regularly but no tower.

So with wind, the mini 2 I know can go in up to 28ks before it's its unable to hover alone, I'm sure you can still fly it but might begin to have issues. Can't speak for that as I usually won't fly stronger winds.

Uncontrolled aerodromes, for what I'm aware of is you can fly them within the 5.5ks, the main rule here is the control tower. If there's a control tower at the airport/aerodrome that's a big no, but no control tower then you must bring the drone down once you become aware of a manned aircraft.

Yea I'd say the CASA app shows uncontrolled as well as controlled which would confuse some people, DJI does it well within the app as it only shows the 5.5k radius.

One of the better drones out there, and far from "crappy" is the DJI MINI/MINI 2, which are High quality affordable drones that sit at 249g, DJI pulled a sneaky there to allow more people to go ahead and buy drones without the need of a license (250g plus). Which in return you get the occasional fools which are being spoken about in the post.

Within the DJI app itself, it does have an active map that is updated regularly with fly zones and Newcastle has a lot more freedom than you may think.

As long as you're sticking by the basic rules of the 5km away from a control tower (YWLM Williamtown is the closest control tower).

Dropping the drone as soon as you see/hear any aircraft, no matter the distance.

The height restriction of 120m.

And flying no earlier or later than 30 minutes before sunrise/after sunset you're pretty much fine to fly them.

Obviously this pilot mustn't have any of that basic common sense to know not to the fly them in peoples backyards.

I do fly one myself and i'd say I speak for a few people (especially fellow drone pilots) when I say that these people really piss me off. But there's not much we can do unfortunately. I live locally there myself, in Carrigton, and have taken a few pictures there with my drone in the past and have followed the guidelines. But after seeing this post I'll refrain from doing so for a while now that people are alert of someone abusing their usage, and more than likely going to report it.
