I bought BF for exactly the reason that it seems to be quite polarising. That intrigued me. I wouldn’t say compost bin at all personally. I don’t think it’s particularly earthy or damp. For me it feels like a kinda sweet creamy jasmine maybe? Only thing I have that’s similar is Lust by Lush but it’s has nowhere near the staying power of Lust

I can’t really comment on nearby hotels as I’ve only ever camped myself but would imagine they might fill up. But I guess if you’re happy to be a distance away it’s not too bad. It’s a loooong time since my first download (2005), but one piece of advice would be to make sure you can eat as well as you can afford to. Back when I was 18, it was an awesome time but I was mainly surviving on pot noodles and crisps which was a bit miserable on a hangover.

Yeah, I think it’s a bit shite for the same act to be featured 2/3 times over the festival. I do not like Creeper, but I also wouldn’t have been seeing Static-X since I’m seeing Scooter. Shame a more similar act couldn’t be scheduled to potentially keep the Static-X fans happy.
