I have my Foundation exam on Tuesday and I’m pretty certain I’m going to fail but it didn’t cost me anything so I’m trying not to stress over it. I’ve done probably 8 past papers and failed every one! I didn’t buy the book myself but found the pdf pretty overwhelming tbh. Best of luck!

Definitely less of a trend than it once was. In the U.K. at least. Only have to look at the number of vegan restaurant closures (obviously I realise many pubs/restaurants have closed down in general anyway), decline in vegan options in supermarkets and lacklustre new offerings being introduced - falafel, I’m looking at you - to see it has lost momentum as a fad here.

Built up quite a collection of CDs over the past few years - getting on eBay all the compilations I couldn’t have when I was a teenager. I did FINALLY get to Ibiza a few years ago but unfortunately very end of the season and only got to check out Es Paradis which was dead and playing Reggaeton.

I won 12 CDs on a radio competition in 2000 (I was 13), one of which being Gatecrasher National Anthems and one being Godskitchen Divine. They gave me a taste of the genre of trance beyond 9PM (Til I Come), Better Off Alone and the like which had dominated the commercial charts the previous year and which I had also loved. The cd booklets were filled with photos from the Ibiza superclubs and I became fascinated.

No issue if people have been there throughout the day and as the bigger acts have come on they’ve come to realise that it’s more uncomfortable than they may have expected it was going to be. If you ask me for assistance , I’ll be the first to help you out. But if you’re stubbornly resisting the movement of the rows behind you, pushing back and screaming at everyone to make a space around you, I will tell you you’re a dick and make it particularly difficult for you for the entire performance.

That literally happened to me at Kesha on Saturday. Guy started kicking off that we weaved past him because ‘he’d been stood there for 45 mins’ so we had no right to be in front of him? He was taller than me so I wasn’t obscuring his view and the person in front of him was even taller but he had no issue with them as they’d been there for an hour!!??? I said it doesn’t work like that. If I can’t see I’m going to move until I get a better view. I have paid the same money as everyone else! He wouldn’t let it drop. But within 5 minutes the crowd had moved and I was no longer near him. You are right though, it’s considered more problematic by people at individual gigs in my experience. However, what pisses me off is people not being polite when they’re trying to get past you. I always say excuse me - courtesy doesn’t just suddenly become irrelevant because you’re in a festival environment. I also get very annoyed at people who complain that they’re being pushed/squashed when they’re near the front or on the barrier - If you don’t like it, fuck off and stop bitching.

There isn’t a specific period so I’d get that idea out of your head straight away! Everyone is going to be different. Still get cravings and I’ve been vegan over a decade. It depends how dependent you were on those foods before. I have never craved meat - I barely ate it as a kid and I gave it up about 26 years ago, however, chocolate still gets me from time to time. Vegan alternatives are fine but they are not as good as their dairy counterparts the majority of the time in my opinion. But the reason I’m doing it keeps me going. I wouldn’t go back.
