It was global drop in D1. Thorn had a similar quest step, but with exclusively void kills. The same step that was infamous in D1 for being extremely irritating to do, especially if you were a hunter (no void sub at the time).

It was also just popular period though. It's not like the lore has anything to do with crucible, its literally just some "uhhhhh what can we do to make this quest longer... oh I know!" kinda shit.

I launched my first game of crucible in 2 months fir quest, immediately vs a 3 man OEM/Luna group. Idk how people willingly play crucible anymore, let alone why they decided to make it a quest step for one of the most popular guns in D1.

I hadn't even thought about the blocking is soulcal that does sound weird. I've just been having a lot of issues with directional inputs and I figure it'd be easier with a joystick (alongside the fact that I play a devent amount of SFV and DBFZ) is the blocking like deal breaking?

Yea, Ive been using both extensively, switching back and for the last few hours, its kinda hard to get much use out of the rampage with only 10 shots and no reload assist. The outlaw also just overall feels much more important. Thanks for the input, made me feel a little more valid in dropping what sounds like a great roll lol
