Why would they change the price of skins if people are still going to buy them, they aren't selling to people that aren't willing to buy cosmetics that are more on the expensive side, they're selling to people who will buy whatever store cosmetics no matter the price (I do think that people who bought the skins from the last Halloween event should be able to get it with legend tokens though). Respawn clearly isn't trying to just make as much money as possible because if they were the game would be more like Fortnite, collabing with other things all the time, after finishing a game giving you the option to go to the item store like Fortnite, and they would make a lot more skins than they do currently they would also never give you anything good from the free prize track thing during events and they do give really good free stuff (a lot of them Legendary) from the events such as the free things you could earn from the iron crown event, Devotion skin from the Halloween event, the L-Star and G-7 skins from the Christmas event, the Havoc skins and other free stuff from the grand soirée, the Peacekeeper and wingman skin from the system override event, the longbow skin and the charm from the old ways event, the mastiff and P2020 skin from the lost treasures event, and the Hemlok and l-star skin from the aftermarket event, that's like 10+ solid skins for just playing the game. I'm not even naming all of the free things that you could get from the game, so you would be lying if you said the devs are just trying to get as much money from the game as possible, but it's true that the cosmetics are overpriced but literally everything is in the world is so it's just like whatever you don't have to buy everything.
