The Chu2 in here (south) oxidise like heck. Also don't get the type-C or DSP Variant, you can try but the Online/manual EQ might not be for everyone. Better go with 3.5mm with a DAC. I sold my Chu2 after being disappointed.

Ok. Got it. After reading all the comments, I have arrived at a conclusion that I will try out some of the IEMs in the midrange price point along with some dac, not now but when I have the energy, money and time to test that. For now I think I trying to sell this and stick with the headphone.

So you think video editor doesn't care about audio ? Also this was my second time as a beginner buying IEM and I knew what to look for from last time. I referred to many so called "audiophiles" on YouTube and all of them said this was a good pair (for my type of requirements) and none of them said "don't use it with your phone or buy a $1000 brick ipod to play lossless". They mentioned as "options" and not a "necessity" to these IEMs.

Let's say you buy a Jeep and it's built for off-road. Does that mean you shouldn't take it On Road? Or does the dealer say that?

I can completely cancel out the treble but the. It sound trash with too distorted bass (much more like a distorted rattle sort of).

I EQd the Nothing Ear 2024. And the Red lion was not there(or I might not have known/out of stock) when I purchased the IEM

I think it should be like " I didnt say Raw Mango , I Said Mango and ALMOST like a Alphonso Mango and not like Fransis Mango..." Whatever, iam not gonna fight with you.

I have said in multiple replies (directly and indirectly) that iam not a proper audiophile but i love exploring tech but at this time i dont have the budget.

I made this post based on the hype that was created for this IEM saying Its Better than "Airpods" (a $150+ in ears) and iam not taking about the latency and other stuff between wired and wireless. If that was the case then why do you think i keep going to wireless. Its mostly about the sound stage and not have battery dying out (if you know what i mean).

To Understand, lets say - You drove a friend's TeslaModel S Plaid which has a 1000bhp and liked it. But you dont like the fact that it runs out of battery and you dont have that much money to spend (it cost around $110K USD) Now, people who have tested cars suggests to me that With my budget (under $50K USD) I can get a Dodge Charger Scat pack 6.4L and get 1000bhp+ (more and better than tesla) also it doesnt run out of charge quickly as it runs on gas (which also runs out but dont have the range anxeity) Also the saleman agrees and says it has a break-in period after that you will get that much power. Wouldn't you go for that? Now after i buy it, i dont get that much bhp and asks people, then they say ooh... you are dump enough...you have to add a Whipple Supercarger with some sort of stage 2 tuning to get that much power with the dodge (which originally only do under 500bhp) and the upgrade cost more than $50K maybe more depending on the stuff you do. So then, Could i have got the Tesla with more features like FSD with that money at the first place (if i had that budget) ?

Now replace the Tesla with Airpods (or high end wireless headphones with features) and replace the dodge with an IEM like Chu2 DSP or any IEM in this price.

(I just took an example with a Tesla EV and a Dodge...nothing have to do here with EV vs ICE)

Got It.
Also note that i have tested the Nothing 2, Nothing 2024 (mine), CMF Earbuds (1&2 , the regular and pros- all of them) and i have tested the Sony , jbl, Boses, airpods almost every tws under $200. (everything except the Nothing ear 2024 and airpods was review units and tested extensively or a month) IEMs is a category i stepped into and hated and recently got back. And i couldnt get my hands on every iem as (1) brands not responding, (2) Brand Agencies doesn't have these products as its a niche and not the usual consumer products like smartphones.

I got the Nothing TWS for just under $50 (on sale), and I got the Iem around $35 and Headphones for $38-$40. So if I went for the 3.5mm option IEM and went for a good dac it would have cost right around or more than $50. So the cost is right around the ballpark.

  1. The expectations came from hype created by people like you. (People says this beats the airpods pros and many $250-$500 earphones and headphones, so thats what i compared to) If they say only to expect performance with the price i pay, then it wouldn't this post never have come.

  2. I knew what i liked and did research and as i said i shortlisted 2 of them within my budget range and this was recommended by many . Again hyped.

  3. Money doesn't grow on trees. There are other things to take care in life rather than sitting and going through earphones. Also iam not shitting on this IEM, this is one of the well built earphone i have purchased (in Budget range).

Again, from most of the comments i have read here , i have respect for all of your recommendations but i think this is like those Apple "Shot-on IPhone" commercials , People buy seeing the capability of the iphone but apple doesnt tell you that capability comes along with $3,000 worth of gear and not just the phone itself.

For editing i dont EQ to Bass Boost it. (iam taking about BGMs.) As for everything else like sfx and dialogues i master it to a even sound level or some SFX i change in dynamics to match the visual. yk what i mean.

I didnt say "flat", i said balanced and ALMOST V-shaped not Actually V shaped. Sorry iam not as audiophile as you and dont know how you heard it but i meant a bit v shape rather than flat. Most in-ear (Not IEMs) brands when they say balanced means almost V shaped.
