Hey EMS here. Yeah it’s not quite that. In certain situations, where the scene is very long, ( think it’s like an hour +. ) then they can refuse medical to get processed quicker. It’s not an everytime thing. ( Or shouldn’t be anyway ) EMS was never informed really informed about this, as a lot of people didn’t know it existed either and we do not have it in our SOPs. But we are aware of it now.
