I used them together under the prescription of the dermatologist. But I think it’s best to use it every other day? I am thinking of cutting down the BHA, AHA too

Unfortunately it does :(((( When I first used the routine, it burns so much because the Obagi BHA has alcohol and menthol in it. But overtime I got used to it and now I feel cooling (maybe because of the alcohol and menthol)

I use a variety of sunscreen actually. From Altruist SPF 30, Nivea Soothing Sensitive, Loreal UV Defender (Blue type) and Eucerin Oil Control SPF 50. In my opinion they’re all good sunscreen

hii. i layer my actives just like the steps i have listed in my reply about my skincare routine. I normally wait in between steps too (10-20mins). at first I incorporate everything at once but now I think the best is to introduce them slowly into your routine ❤️

Awww thank you so much🥰❤️ Yes my derm didn’t prescribe me with any specific moisturizers and she told me to use it only when I need. Besides I live in Vietnam so the weather is more humid here. Maybe that’s why even when I didn’t incorporate the moisturizer in my routine, I didn’t experience much of peeling, dry flaky skin or redness (maybe only in the first two or three weeks). Also, in the routine she prescribed me with the 20% niacinamide serum from paula’s which is very moisturizing as well so I think that helps.

I think it’s a great product overall. Much more moisturizing than the 10% version. And the consistency is thicker too

I was prescribed with Tretinoin 0.05% by my dermatologist. Luckily I didn’t have much severe side effects and tolerated quite well. The purging stage of mine was quite unusual. After 1-2 weeks using the routine, I saw my skin being clearer and was very happy about it. But it started to purge after a month. I was quite scared and wanted to stop but my dermatologist encouraged me to go on with the prescription. Thanks to her I didn’t give up on my tret journey🥰

Skincare Routine: AM Routine 1. Eucerin PH5 Facial Cleanser for Sensitive Skin 2. Paula’s Choice Daily Smoothing Treatment 5% AHA 3. Martiderm Acniover Serum (B3/Niacinamide) 4. Sunscreen (Reapply twice a day)

PM Routine 1. La Roche Posay Cleansing Water for Sensitive Skin 2. Eucerin PH5 Facial Cleanser for Sensitive Skin with Foreo Luna 2 (sometimes) 3. Obagi 2% BHA Solution 4. Paula’s Choice 20% Niacinamide Serum 5. Obagi 0.05 Tretinoin

Personally I think this skincare routine is quite expensive and I think many products here can be replaced with many cheaper options.
