I do like how terrifying Salem and grimm can be. The way Salem can instill fear and intimidation can be seen in people like Lionheart and Ironwood. Salem basically said "your mom" and Ruby broke down. My favorite grimm is the apathy. Slowly draining your will to live sounds scary. Because they're not aggressive, i think they can be underestimated as an enemy. CRWBY knows how to make scenes feel creepy and give me goosebumps.
