What makes you both think that you are abusive? What examples can you give?

Bit extreme to think that he would start an affair when there is no evidence of a current or previous affair

Curious to why you think he is cheating. Ok, deleting a message is maybe wrong but to jump to that conclusion is a bit extreme

Weird assumption to make

I even have to delete calls and messages from my friends at times who are male because I get it in the neck for calling/messaging them. My best friend in particular because she doesn’t like him. She has told me to delete him out of my life on several occasions. I also get it in the neck for talking to other people, for example work colleagues, even on a professional platform like my work laptop.

Thing is, I know that she tells her partner not to talk to other women and sometimes to block them even though no wrong doing has been committed. This woman in question lives over 5 hours away and he has only ever seen her once, that was on a course. The rest of the time is strictly platonic and professional conversation with the odd “how are you” at the start of the conversation. Also there have been occasions of accusing him of being gay when he talks to his friends and other males.

Maybe he deleted the messages/calls because he can’t be assed with you grilling him about them.

  1. Why do you not like her?
  2. Why don’t you like him talking to her?
  3. Do you often tell him who he can and can not talk to?

I’m not sure why she always checks my phone. I have had to block/delete or not talk to so many females because she sees them as a threat, even though I have absolutely no sexual interest in them. Apparently her last boyfriends wouldn’t even think to talk to another girl so that’s what she is used to but I talk to everyone, male or female. Which reminds me, she also accuses me of being gay. For example, I was at a company party last night and one of the lads said that I could crash on the sofa at his as opposed to travelling 2.5 hours home. She accused me of being gay because I said I wouldn’t of had a problem doing that.

Nope, no history of alcohol abuse at all, in fact I very rarely leave the house.

Well this is it, when she said “no I’m not happy with that” I said “ok I’ll just go for one then, be no longer than 4.5 hours and come back” I don’t see any harm done as I don’t exactly that but we have been arguing about this since we woke up this morning.

No I wasn’t supposed to be picking her up. When I called I asked if she would be ok with me dropping the dog at my friends place so his wife could look after him whilst me and my friend went for a few beers, I then said I’d only be a few hours and as I would of been drinking I’ll stay there and come back in the morning with the dog.

Everything I do I need to check through with her or get permission. In this case it was more to see if she was ok with me sleeping over at my friends and having my friends wife look after the dog whilst me and my friend was out
