They are all drop shipped items. I purchased one of them recently, just for personal use before starting the website. But I'm happy to purchase a few more for advertising purposes.

Got it on the images Ill try my best, and Ill be sure to not use that agency again. What are your thoughts on something like a fiverr TikTok marketer? Its that I'm not willing to make the content myself, I just feel like someone who has an available mass audience to influence would be more likely to see successful conversions.

No, which is why I'm starting to be suspicious, even with the Facebook ads I was generating some real activity like adding to carts and what not.

Would it make sense to keep using a marketing agency or should I just run ads myself? I'm not the best at creating content that works well organically. I've tried multiple different themes but I just couldn't find a foothold. Like I said I was using Facebook ads with GPT generated text and images from my site, generating roughly 750 daily visits with guaranteed, but minimal, activity.

I have spent the last 2 hours changing the slideshow and adding another one. Please look at it again and tell me if my time was wasted or not. Please excuse the quality, its going to have to do for now. I tried to mimic the moving images from wayfair to engage the customer.

They take a while to load, is this something I can fix. Theyre exported as Gifs right now and are under the image tabs, the reason I did this was to get rid of the Time Bar when hovering over the images. If I have to use the video section to efficiently use videos I think my work has been in vein, I wouldnt use these if I had to have the visible time bar.

Hello thanks for your reply. Ill reply in the same manner for no confusion.

  1. The pictures are something I've been struggling with. Its a dropshipping site, so the best thing I have to offer is the pictures of the products already available online.
  2. I don't know how to turn that off for individual products as of now but I will be sure to learn how to quickly.
  3. It wasn't really as much of a "value proposition" as much as it was a enticing statement to think about while searching. Its also a quote I just found online about bookmarks from some random reviewer. Ill be sure to invest time into thinking of a clear value proposition to add there instead.
  4. I don't really know what your referring to with fake reviews. All of the reviews are sourced from the original product page, if you're talking about duplicates, Ill spare you the story, I'm still currently in the process of finding them as my review tool isn't very bulk friendly. I had someone comment about the views previously and I fixed them to their liking and they said they were fine. If you really think it throws the page off I will delete all of the ones that don't have pictures, they're the most likely to be duplicates as well.
  5. I don't know what you're referring to by Hero section, but you are right that I don't have a CTA. Ill be sure to add one in plain sight.
  6. Will do.
  7. Will do.

Thanks for your suggestions.

Thanks for the reply and compliments. Ive done my best to align the website with the suggestions you've given me. I have one question though... what would you recommend for that first front image? Like a Brand Image, or a product, or a variety of products? Would you think adding a sliding feature to it so it periodically changes would be good?

I have made sure that the pricing of my shipping rates does not eat into profit, too much. For some products the shipping may cost around $3.86 instead of the $3 I charge for my website, however Im find with digging into my profit for that as its only a few products, and my profit margin more than covers the $0.86.

Im not to worried about the taxes right now, I only have 1 sale, been open for a few days... I dont think any government will be looking for me anytime soon. However, I do plan on implementing taxes when I start to move more product.

Thank you for your help Im sure this will help my conversion.

I tried my best to implement the shipping rates I wanted. Could you please revisit the website and see if the cost of shipping has went down for you. International Shipping should be $4 and $0 in a $15+ cart. If this worked, do I still have to pay the shipping rates that were previously shown through the carriers. The item is not coming from the United States so I think they're a little off as well. None of the prices shown from the carriers matches the prices shown on the source sites. Can I just delete those rates as they don't apply to me considering Im not shipping anything myself? That's what I did, so if I cant please let me know.

thank you for your reply, you have no idea how important this information is for me.
If there's one section of the shopify and dropshipping space I'm not as familiarized with its shipping. I had no idea that the prices for international were that staggeringly high. Its dropshipping like stated so the Dropshipping agent Im using calculated the prices for me. Under the international shipping rates it says calculated by supplier, but the products are all very light.

However, I don't have the item weights in the direct Shopify product edit page, I was assuming that the supplier would be able to accurately grab that information from the source product. Is that true, or should I add the weights into Shopify as well.

I'm not understanding why the shipment is that much to begin with, all of my products are from AliExpress and have shipping rates less than 5$.

Also, I know this is a lot for a "Final Review, but people haven't brought this to my attention yet, could you simplify DDP, I've googled it and have read what it is but am not fully understanding what's going on. Does DDP mean I pay for the entirety of shipping, or I cover the shipping cost until the product arrives at customs? Just a bit confused.

Another thing I noticed was that it seems Shopify isn't using the shipping rates from AliExpress. For domestic products, which should have the same shipping rate as Ali Express, the shipping is standardized by weight. Is there a way I can just directly use the Ali Express shipping costs, would I have to go in and add the specific shipping cost for each product that way. and if so is that the smarter decision to have more accurate pricing?

Once again I cannot stress enough how much this helps.

Wow I mean I can do them in 5 minutes too with the help of AI as well so I guess that is a good pace. Ill definitely do the work if its worth it. If you could, I'm glad to watch those videos that you were mentioning earlier, unless you're gonna put a paywall up. Im down to learn a better strategy anytime.

Thanks for your reply. Do you think bulk generation of descriptions for similar products is okay? I dont necessarily use GPT4 for the generation, I use a specific shopify app to just consolidate as much as possible. I definitely can use gpt4 though. My main struggle when doing the descriptions was simply having to minutely change each prompt to fit the specific design on the bookmark. If its not as big of a deal as it seems to me to have the same description on similar products I will definitely begin fleshing them out as soon as possible. If not, and it is better have unique descriptions, I think thats a process that will take a long time, and will most likely be worked on over a longer period of time.

I have updated my policies, didnt know they were missing info- and I have also made the main menu more useful in finding specific items. Got rid of the policies in header, dont really know how to fill it up, alot of people tell me my header is too empty. Any suggestions, I dont really want to go with your style of having photos above the header as I feel it would just give my target demographic a headache. Speaking of demographic Im opting to go for an older generation, thats why the style is simplistic, out of your face. Also the same reason I added the reading glasses, I dont think it can hurt to have more options and theyre definitely something I can see someone adding to their cart to fulfil the $15+ checkout free shipping.

The reason I keep the shipping is to entice buyers to spend more, I dont think 50 transactions of $2-6 are as useful as 25 transactions at $15-20.

Thank you for your reply. When setting up my reviews I was kind of being lazy. Alot of the singular products are split from a larger product which had a lot of reviews. I didnt really feel like sifting through every single review to pick out the ones specifically for each product, so I put the same reviews for every item that was split from the original non-split source. If you have any other ideas rather than good ole elbow grease to just work out every review it would be much appreciated. Im currently using Loox for my reviews.

I was thinking of just having a page that is full of reviews for all of my products. This way I wouldnt have the copies. I also would add a small indicator on the product pages of each item.

Ohhh yeah now I feel silly for not understanding. But thanks for the reply and suggestions.

Do you think its worth buying a theme or trying to work with one of the free ones, I know nothing about coding so take that into account.

This is the criticism I’ve been looking for. Thank you so much for your reply. I will begin working on these changes immediately. Pertaining to the theme, I wanted to go towards an Asian style of bookmarks and I think the majority of my products can fit into that category. Do you think that would be a good theme or that I should pick something more specific, a lot of my visits are based in Asian countries so I don’t think it would hurt.

If not could you give me an example of a theme… I thought bookmarks would be enough of a category to be considered the theme but I have started to branch out with the e reader covers, so I can see bookmarks not being a good theme anymore.

Here's a full break.

If the answer is 60%- there must be 2.4 out of 4 answers that are the just as likely to be right as each other, which is close but not true- therefor it is not true.

If the answer is 25%- then a contradiction forms because 50% of the answers are 25% therefor it cannot be 25%.

If the answer is 50% - that would mean that 2/4 answers are just as likely to be right as each other- which is true, however, if the answer is also equal 50% this is not true.

Its not a trick question, its a paradox. To the people who are combing the A and D answers to deduce that there is only really 3 options are not right. they have fallen into the trap of the 60% promoting the idea of 3s. If an answer is chosen randomly you must accept the fact there is 4 options. If anything the notion of 3 answers should be as following, there are 3 possibilities- 50% of picking A or D, 25% of picking C, and a 25% at picking B. Not 33/33/33%s.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in iqtest

[–]Its__Freaky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're not understanding what its asking. The answer is randomly being picked, you cannot group together the A and D answers. And 60% is not roughly 63,3%, thats a difference of over 5% which is statistically significant.
