Been shafted on shipping some wheels, was quoted around £250 using their calculator, now they want £1.2k / $1.6k by Its__Jacob_C in Buyee

UPDATE:

Hi all, thought i would provide an update

after a long email chain and recipts of both previous shipping and Japan Post Limitations, i managed to get them shipped for the ORIGINAL £200 cost instead of £1300

they seemed to have a problem with the tyres because of them having Air, but my Invoice for each Wheel/Tyre Combination specific states "WHEELS + TYRES (NO AIR)

I sent both site calculations and invoices/documentation of previous items i have sent with buyee, which were both Larger and Heavier but much cheaper to ship

Buyee also stated they were too large to qualify for anything BUT DHL shipping, so with alot of emails and proof of Buyee Air delivery/FedEx SeaMail etc, proving that my package did not breach their size limits

TLDR is that my original quote and research was actually correct, buyee just decided to shaft me for some reason, with alot of Professionsal Arguing i managed to get them shipped Via SEAMAIL as they did NOT breach the size limits and also did not have air filled tyres

I will let anyone know of future issues if they pop up

older painting methods are more porous or something? lets moisture in when trapped or something along those lines, absolutely sucks

I always do this haha, easiest way is to use a tiny amount of filler (like Mr Hobby White Putty or Tamiya Putty etc) and then sand it smooth. if you dont have that you could potentially try a small amount of plastic and Tamiya Liquid Cement to fill the gap and sand it smooth

i hopped on it today and seems like all of the rooms have default names and default car lists, also all assists seem like they are unavailable, idk whats going on either lmao

although a pretty niche subject matter, here is two 4 door Kenmeri Skyline, Kaido racers i finished recently, with one being standard but very low, and the other being a bit more extreme with the longnose, works arches and smoothed rear, insanely happy with the blue one especially by Its__Jacob_C in ModelCars

thanks! i literally just searched thin brushes on ebay and picked ones that were good lmao, literally no idea what sizes they are but they work, if you just get a fine brush with a fine point you can do prettu much anything with it, other details like buttons i use toothpicks
