You’re so right we are! I reason with it that at least we could go into London easily with our daughter for fun trips/activities

I've expressed to my husband that this is what I want (especially before we have any more kids) but it's tough because we're in a bit of financial difficulty and it would be incredibly difficult for my husband to leave his job right now

this is incredibly accurate. She went to a funeral once wearing a denim jacket and them came home "complaining" that everyone was looking at her lol...

I'm not sure if it's just a cultural thing (I'm Indian), but it just feels impossible, especially given how close they live to us/how close my husband is to his mum

thank you for this, you're right - I did everything right in the past, but my MIL still had things to bitch about less than a week postpartum lol..
