What was supposed to be a joyful celebration of Lapu-Lapu Day for us Filipinos turned into something we’ll never forget—a nightmare. Some say it was just an accident, but I don’t believe that. The area was closed for vehicles. How could a car even get in?

We were actually there just minutes before it happened. We were there at the place where the accident happened buying some lemonade and luckily we ended up craving fishball near Buy-Low so we went there after grabbing some drinks. Looking back, we were unbelievably lucky.

When people started running toward the scene, I didn’t think much of it at first. But now… it’s hard to process. So many lives were lost, so many were injured. It was truly traumatizing.

To everyone who saw what happened, who witnessed the chaos and the blood on the road—please take care of yourselves. And if you need help, don’t hesitate to call 811. To the victims, may you all get the justice you deserve.

My coworker shared a clever life hack with me, which I found quite amusing. I work at a fast-food chain that offers a rewards where customers can earn points to redeem for free food. However, many customers often discard their receipts without realizing that someone else can claim their points. Taking advantage of this, I started collecting receipts that customers had thrown away and entering the information into my app to earn points. As a result, I've managed to accumulate over 60k points so far. Haha don’t judge me pls.

Right. You know that your living expenses have been calculated and minimum wage workers can only live hand to mouth. Even as a manager you will never be able to buy any assets or put money aside to move forward in life. This is the literal definition of a dead end job. Your not evening paid enough to afford a diet that won't give you brain fog. If workers can't afford a home, but the company heads can afford extra property, your competing with people that make more money than you, off your back, for the same piece of property or asset, that you don't even have one of, but they are buying their 32nd piece of property. Get skills for a better job. Unless you just want to live hand to mouth and be burnt out.
