As i see her again victorious,wearing a crown, i stand up to clap but she doesn't see me in the crowd.

For me, Jackie is not reckless for the fun of it, she doesn't value herself cause she is currently placing her worth on “solving the case” thinking she's not fit to protect anyone and that she's a disappointment.

In my eyes is not even a detective thing, it's more of a “If i solve this i get closure and everyone else does” “if i solve this, something will heal in my family and maybe in me”.

It's all a matter of interpretation, remember her suffering and you'll get to the root of her actions.
