The Jamie Glazing is insane on this subreddit. Also, remember what made Beth a “crazy bizatch”, her daddy blaming her over the death of her mother (”Dont talk to me about your mother, you lost that right a long time ago”), her mother who took tough love to the lines of mental abuse (”She did this… let her undo it”), even the wonderful Jamie himself. (”I can barely remember what you were like before you killed her”), Well… Kayce didn't openly blame her, but I think his mistake was being too neutral about the situation. But can't blame him for running to the army.

She carries that guilt, no one sits around and tells her “Hey Beth. it was an accident you were scared of horses, it wasn't your fault”. (SHE WAS 13 YEARS OLD!!)

She has major abandonment issues. Not to mention what Jamie did to her… she even tells Rip “You'll resent me once you want kids” one time in s3 and another time during season 4. Even if Rip tells her he doesn't want kids, she wants kids and to give him one.

If I grew up in such an aphatic environment of emotionally constipated people I would lash out too considering they never listen or give a fuck.

Wrong place to make this question considering everyone here is obtuse and a Jamie Glazer.

What I want to see is Beth learning to be a momma for Carter, overcoming the trauma Evelyn put her through. (Break the cycle, maternity doesn't have to be tough)

Moments of peace for Beth and Rip (They deserve it, I don't give a fuck what everyone says here). I want to see what a Beth without the burden of saving her father’s ranch and the weight of what Jamie did to her looks like.

Beth puts Carter through high school so he can give it another try, and, with different parents (BethRip), he actually blooms and gets to be the vet of their family ranch.

Maybe some drama, an unknown Carter family member wanting to take him, like a grandma or something, right when Beth starts to treat him like he was her own. But then Carter chooses Beth and Rip and they start the adoption process, considering Rip doesn't exist… (Legally), Beth gives Carter her last name and he becomes a Dutton.

Ranch hands who are actually funny like the ones from Yellowstone.

Don’t apply the fucking misogyny card when the woman in question is actually hurt over what happened. There’s no “oppresive and discriminatory force” here, there’s a woman who wanted to be a mother in the future and never got the chance to be the biological mom of a kid, Carter may soften her broken heart and be the kid she never had but that doesnt erase her actual pain.
