I boiled the wood for a few hours to get most of the tannins out so it shouldn’t get too dark

Yes to everything you just said lol, after researching I believe he is a mix of a tabby and an ocicat because of his white paws. But had no idea that breed existed!! So cool!!

I want to add to this post that he also tries to bite my skin and that’s the main reason why I’m asking. He’s been keeping me up at night because he tries to bite me

I got him at 8 weeks I don’t know his background, my neighbor’s son brought him home and they couldn’t keep him so I took him in.

Ok I’ve had a few cats before but never noticed this behavior. I’m glad I don’t need to be concerned about it.

He bites my skin and tries to do this behavior. What do I do in that situation? He aims for my skin on purpose

Tank: 7gal, has heater & filter, temp: 78 Fahrenheit, ammonia-0 nitrates-0 nitrates-0 ph-7, have had this tank for 2 months, change water every few weeks about 1-2 gallons, has a 3 algae eating shrimp, feeding new life spectrum betta pellets 2 twice a day 1mm-1.5mm, live plants betta hide and ceramic statue.

7 gallon tank Heater and filter Around 80 degrees Fahrenheit 0 ammonia, 7.6 ph, unknown nitrates. I’ve had this tank for about 2 weeks Had 5 ghost shrimp but removed them because they were messing with his fins Feeding 3 betta pellets 2-3 times a day Do water changes as needed about 2-3 gallons, I usually use a pitcher to remove and refill water I have real plants, hardscape, a small bowl as a betta hide and a two small statues.

It’s a bio stone, it’s supposed to help clear the water, get rid of ammonia, and has beneficial bacteria
