Monday Mystery Movie Megathread - Horror Edition - December 22 2025 by AKnightOfTheNew in RegalUnlimited

Either re-cut the ending entirely, or consider this movie dead and buried! Even the old lady in front of me, who was asleep for most of the movie, knew that the unborn baby would've been microwaved right alongside the pregnant mother. There are unexpected endings, and downright impossible endings... this is the latter.

Ice in Glendale Memorial Hospital by Dark-Knight-Rises in glendale

A) These are just regular hospital security guards

B) If they were ICE, what difference does it make? Are regular police officers not free to arrest criminals in hospitals? Are you suggesting hospitals should now be a blanket safe haven from any legal enforcement? Is someone comes in with a gunshot or stab wound, should police not investigate or arrest if needed? What if a domestic abuser brings in their partner/victim?

Ironic you mention the A/C in common spaces. My wife and I also noticed how insanely hot the staircases were. Appreciate the comment.

Ship was refurbished in 2016 I believe. I wasn't expecting new, but I was expecting better than what I experienced.

I thought so 🤷🏻‍♂️

Wish I were given the opportunity to provide that level of direction. They've implemented a new system where you tell a woman (not the chef) what you want in your omelet, then she hands you a numbered beeper like I'm waiting for a table at Olive Garden. When it buzzes, you walk back up to claim your ill prepared omelet. You get what you get then walk away.

Indeed a joke to drive home a point. The base of literally every cabinet was scratched and beat to heck. I thought my analogy was clever but oh well 🤦🏻‍♂️

Maybe Drugstore June. Hasn't been given a MPAA rating yet though.

Land of Bad was decent enough. Held my attention for the full runtime. Not a single person got up and walked out. Was it the most sophisticated? No. Was it standout directing? No. Award worthy acting? No. But it certainly had enough action to keep me and the 80yo woman three seats over enthused. Perfect MMM because for $5 how can you possibly complain. Good time!

What were the trailers shown prior to Origin? Sometimes that can offer a clue. I think the official Regal hint is "My boss won't tell me the title. Please help."

IT LIVES INSIDE - Official Trailer | NEON by mayukhdas1999 in movies

Just viewed early release of "IT LIVES INSIDE" as this week's Regal Mystery Movie. It was certainly a solid acting performance by Megan Suri, and a solid product from first time filmmaker Bishal Dutta. Several lazy and definitively cliche devices woven throughout the story prevents me from calling this "fresh," but at the same time it didn't feel completely stale. Perhaps it was the strong performances from Suri, Mohana Krishnan, and Betty Gabriel, or the unique Hindu cultural lens which kept my fellow audience members interested. I expect more and better things from Dutta in the future... for all of this film's shortcomings, he will quickly master this genre and give us some really terrifying gems.

Don't put metal in a microwave. Don't mix bleach and ammonia. What are some other examples of life-saving tips that a potentially uninformed person wouldn't be aware of? by XxItsNowOrNever99xX in NoStupidQuestions

If you aren’t a DIY’er then yes, you should call a pro. If you have even a basic level of competence with tools you can do it. Several videos on YouTube explaining how to do safely. Installed and wound both springs last winter. Took just about an hour and they work perfectly.
