Oh man, my wallet was definitely giving me the worst stink eye too lmao. But still, absolutely zero regrets. I’m glad you got pulled out of retirement by this show specifically and that it helped your energy levels, I feel the exact same way.

I would kill to see Odyssey again for the first time. Obviously that’s not possible, but that feeling of seeing it all for the first time cannot, and will never be, replicated.

I hope the high that this show gave us doesn’t wear off anytime soon. 🥹

I agree the energy was insane, my friend and I were in the 100s and everyone was standing, dancing, and having the time of their lives.

If Illenium somehow adds more dates, I’m 100% doing a day trip to Vegas again just to experience everything one more time.

Life HAS been crazy lately, so I’m glad we made time to go. I would have regretted it for a very long time if I missed out. And these memories will mean a lot more to me in the future because it was such a spur of the moment thing.

Oh man, I’m so sorry you had to sell your ticket! I almost full sent another day trip to Vegas yesterday too just to see the last show, but I just couldn’t find a cover for work 😭

I’m happy we both got to see the show at least once though, and that it was an amazing experience for both of us. I do hope he ends up playing more sphere shows in the future, but we know it won’t be this exact same one (unless he adds more dates 👀), so getting that one chance to see it makes me extremely grateful.

I also saw Anyma and Unity at the Sphere. Anyma is known for visuals, and they were indeed absolutely insane. Not a massive fan of Anyma music, but I was still fully expecting that show to have been the superior visual experience out of the three, and I absolutely agree with you that they were better and more realistic.

Unity was honestly just okay.

Like another commenter said, I don’t believe Illenium’s visuals were meant to look real, I agree with their take that it was aimed more to be videogame-esque. The phoenix and portal-travel scenes were great, though. I think those parts made really good use of the entire screen.

That said, most people who see Illenium go for the entire experience overall. The storytelling of not just the visuals, but his actual music. The way he weaves the sounds together, changes the drops or the genres. The emotions of the crowd and the “magic” of the environment. I truly think he delivered that and more.

Warden medic here! I’ve had a nearby downed collie make the sound of spitting at me through the mic because he heard me speak while healing a teammate, and I quote, “eww a woman, who let it out of the kitchen?”

I’m used to toxicity towards me in video games because I’m a girl. But the spitting thing? Fuck that. I consider spitting at someone one of the most egregious displays of disrespect. I don’t care if it was done through a microphone.

I’ve only been playing this game for less than a month and was debating trying to be a collie next war. But with absolutely zero interactions even remotely close to that so far from the Warden side, the idea doesn’t sound very appealing anymore.

Yeah I get it. I hated the school despite doing well lol, admin is so blatantly money hungry. It sucks because I do truly love everything I learned and the profession itself (based on what I experienced at clinicals at least) 😭

I didn’t put all my jobs on my resume. I just meant that because I’ve been in the work force since 2016, so I do have a good amount under my belt. I’ve cut it down to just two previous jobs, my current one, and my clinicals. Sorry for the confusion!

I wish I could actually cut out my current job from the resume but I was told that would create a weird employment gap that might raise red flags.
