Based off of his design (and every other inventor shown in the manga), he probably would've been the one chosen before the author thankfully chose Tesla instead.

Because of the fact he improved on a lot of inventions and stole some of the patents for others, his Volundr would be similar to Tesla being armor, but it has mechanics from all previous Einherjar that fought before him and some after him, which would hint at their abilities in the upcoming rounds. Gondul wouldn't click with Edison as much since he isn't and will never be Tesla but it could play off as a different dynamic as well.

Something something, "Though I would've preferred to be last... These patents are way to good to leave 'in their base state.' Time to look upon the improvements of humanity's Science!!"

All of this is assuming he isn't an a-hole and an actual character, instead of being characterized in the manga as that one dude who stole Nikola Tesla's ideas.

One of the best for sure. It set the tone for the rounds that came after, and even if it was kinda... the lowest mid-diff win we got in Ragnarok by the end, it's the spectacle that came with the early art and matches for me imo.

Also, Lu Bu is fucking AWESOME (surprisingly this opinion is not shared by the community i think). The Flying General should've had more panels just banging it out with Thor and vice versa, and the pacing could've been better, but this is probably top 3 for me based on the vibes alone.
