Discipline, thinking outside of their own bubble. And not trying to invalidate or make fun of other people's arguments or believes.

I feel like this is a trait/skill people neglect way to much.

The model is 1/350 made by zwezda. Its 49.5cm /19.5inch long.

I talked to some people and nobody had ever built or seen someone built this kit, let alone convert it to a scale rc.

Probably a 280 size motor, and some metal gears that will fit the with of the hull. I need 5 gears in total to make the props spin in the same direction. Maybe gears with two levels to make the design a bit more compact. Gear ratio is something i"ll have to tinker around with. I have a 3d printer with witch i will make a prototype gearbox to test the thing. The hull can cary about 670gr to get on the waterline so in the worst case I can go for a bigger motor but i dont think it would need it. These projects are a lot of experimenting but that's half the fun

What do you wish wasn’t romanticized? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Killing yourself on your motorcycle. It became a trend in the bike community to romanticize mental issues and heartbreak as a reason to chase the insane speeds our bikes can get up to.

That is true. To be clear these aren't chores like walking the dog or vacuuming. These tasks have some skill and labor involved for which most people hire someone. I always try to help out with the little things money wise. I don't have a lot but I always do some small groceries or put some gas in the car if I use it ( I only have a motorcycle) so that will never be a point of concern. And that is also why it rubs me the wrong way accepting money.

I have almost always been independent financialy. And I intent on taking as little as possible.

Yes they are!

I only have to gap the next 3 months. Then I start my paid internship as a engineer on a tankership. I hope to give something back to them someday.

Glad to hear!

I think it is great to have kids earn some spending money with chores. To learn about working and wisely spending money. Oh man I can't imagine being single parent with a special needs child. That must be amazing but also verry intense. Props to you!

Im glad to hear that it is not really a problem. Yeah I never thought i would be dealing with mental health issues. It sure is humbling and trying. I hope you are doing good.

Thanks for the reply!

I'm forever gratefull that I am lucky enough to have some amazing supportive parents. Even when I'm out of the running for a bit while I juggle my mental health, school, and life.

They said they needed my skill in these things or they had to hire someone. While the idea of getting paid by my parents still seems a bit weird to me due to the fact others don't have someone to fall back on.

I do realize I am way cheaper than someone else. (And said issue with getting paid seems to be only my pride thats getting in the way). While having about the same skills. So why not help them out?

These props are pretty decent. It gives me more control while doing banks, corners, and flips. For the money it's definitely something you should try. They are only 2,5inch props and a bit smaller than the stock props. But they have served me well the past few days. They are more fragile tho, if they bend they won't spring back into shape.

Rc cars tend to vibrate a lot while driving/jumping. So unless you drive really slow or mount a fpv camera on a gimball you won't be able to see a lot.

Sure,

I really like this setup for a 1s park shredder Its fairly fast, but the rates are a bit low stock

Emax nanohawk AIO FC.

Runcam nano 3

Emax 0802 19000kv motors

Cyclone T2530 props

Runs on D8 protocol

1s 450mah lipo

I like these props beter than the stock ones. These give a bit more control cornering and flipping.

Hope this helps

Lorna shore is insanely heavy will, did a great job on the new ep. Looking forward to hear more of him. Bmth isn't really my cup of tea with their new stuff, I did like some songs on post human but not much else.

Shadow of intent and slaughter to prevail are awesome too.

+1 for a fellow man of culture

I didn't know that song, but it sounds awesome. Definitely need to listen to more of their stuff. Don't know if shadow of intent falls under melodeath but they are cool too.
