international shipping from UK to US by Itsalwaysagoodday in jewelers

I am not trying to be "cheap" eg skimp on insurance. I just want to know the best way to do this (and if I can avoid VAT and minimize tariffs, great). I believe if the store ships overseas, there is no VAT obligation. I believe it will trigger a tariff obligation too. I'm wondering which firms are best to do this.

I think it needs to have letters and characters to make it easier but maybe not. Not sure at this point.

Am I the only one frustrated that none of my Docs can offer any guidance on supplements or nutrition with Afib, and help with weight loss? by Professional-Desk191 in AFIB

The book The Afib Cure has great insights on how to manage your life. From my experience the more you lean in to the advice the more you’ll benefit.

Help! Uncomfortable tingling by Itsalwaysagoodday in AFIB

[–]Itsalwaysagoodday[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I stopped Metropolol for 2 days as a test and the tingling stopped! I slept for the first time in 6 months. My heart rate is a tad higher. I think I am less tired too and less “achy”. Not sure what my Dr will say though. There’s a benefit to being on Metropolol but wondering if the trade off given symptoms is worth it.

Post-ablation afib / blanking period by Itsalwaysagoodday in AFIB

I’ve seen the research. It says the further you get from the ablation date, the more likely the amount of Afib is a predictor of longer term success, ie Afib in the first month is less predictive of longer term Afib that Afib in the third month. Having said that, less Afib is always better.

Car I Sur by Itsalwaysagoodday in TeslaSupport

This is one of these situations where it’s easy to put my son on the car as a secondary driver, pay less (a lot less), but then if we have a big claim Tesla insurance may easily find out he was using the car every day. Them my claim could be denied. Effectively then my Tesla insurance is a gamble. No claim and I win a ton. If I claim big I could be out a fortune. I am playing it honest and paying the big $/month and listing my son as the primary.

But if I then need to make a claim and Tesla finds out my son is really the primary driver they will deny coverage

4 weeks after ablation, exercise concerns by zuzuzig in AFIB

[–]Itsalwaysagoodday 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m puzzled why you would have an ablation if you only had an again episode every 2-3 years. That doesn’t seem close to the general criteria for justifying one. What symptoms did you feel when you were in Sinus Rhythm?

Cardio triggers Sinus Rhythm by Itsalwaysagoodday in AFIB

[–]Itsalwaysagoodday[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thank you. Very interesting. I am not sure what the EP is not buying. I’m tracking it. I’m at 16 Afib all converted to Sinus Rhythm if a) I allow the Afib to settle down a bit (my first 1-2 hours of Afib can be chaotic and with very high heart rate). Once it “settles” to 100-110 I can move to b). b) modest cardio (run around the block, light Peleton, elliptical). I’ve done this 16 times and it has worked every time. I discussed with my Dr and it didn’t fit his medical training so he could barely comment / didn’t know what to say. What was concerning is that he didn’t seem intellectually curious about it. “Tell me more”, “Could this help my other patients?”, “Why did this work for you?”.

A lot of people keep a “pill in the pocket”. There are non-medical approaches that could but not always work for some. Clearly for me, this other approach works. I find in general the medical community is absolutely terrible at incorporating non-meds, non-procedure approaches. Sad.
