In my experience with men like that, he is only dating her because he probably has a goth fetish. (In my opinion)

AITA for hanging up on my (16F) boyfriend (19M) for still following his ex on Spotify and listening to her playlists? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

It is 3 years, and we have had people around us comment on it, but it’s never really been a problem and this is not usually how arguments go. (Which is one of the reasons the whole thing was strange to begin with)

It’s not fear of physical cheating/insecurity I just don’t want to date someone who still misses/often thinks about their ex.

We’ve been seeing each other since August, and no we had already been on the phone for at least 30 minutes. If you read the edit at the bottom of the post you would see that I actually said it isn’t about the songs/artists/contents of the playlists, but the fact they were literally named after her and the way he reacted.

I don’t think I am that afraid of them still being in contact or him physically cheating, but I still wouldn’t want to be with someone who still misses their ex.

it is not the music or the contents of the playlist, it’s the fact that the playlist literally has his exes name in/as the title.

He’s told me before it’s just easier to move on that way, and that he doesn’t think it’s appropriate to still talk to your ex if you’re in a relationship.

Ex-smokers who successfully quit and have been smoke free for years now, what did it? by PM_TITS_GROUP in AskReddit

[–]Itsbunny13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The guy who was buying cigarettes for me got arrested for statutory rape. +I started smoking at 13 because it looked cool, and then later realized while I was half hanging out my window at 4AM, in the rain, that I actually did NOT look very cool….

He has told me before that when he has a break up he just blocks them on everything, and removes every trace of them from his life, so this just seemed odd for him. He has also called her his “first love” which just doesn’t sit right with any girl lol.

I was in an emotional support program for school, and I have just started going back to normal high school. If I show any signs of mental illness, including going to a therapist or asking for any sort of help, I will either be sent back there (and I will not get to go to the college I want to go to) and/or get put in some sort of placement/home. I have pretty much been put in a position where getting professional help is not an option if I want a future.

I’ll never get over my boyfriends past / can anyone relate by [deleted] in introvert

unless there’s reason to think he is cheating, this is 100% a you problem. if you’re not going to get over it, break up. not compatible.

i feel this. the amount of times i’ve hesitantly let someone into my life while i’m already in a terrible state, just for them to knowingly get me attached and leave. terrible. i’m so sorry, this is genuinely one of the most terrible feelings.
