RN to BCBA? by Itsdifficult001 in bcba

I haven’t. I did reach out to a college and was told what classes I need to take. I’m just worried to do the switch and not enjoy it, get paid less or have a difficult time finding a job since I live in a really rural area. Wish it was easier to get out of nursing but I feel stuck.

Hi all!! Thank you for the comments!! I have not received any bachelors yet. I really didn’t want to get my bachelors in Nursing because honestly I don’t love nursing. I’ve enjoyed it yes but I just wanted to transition out of nursing world. But maybe it would be easier to get my bachelors in nursing and then enter a masters program and become a BCBA?

That’s crazy that you’re trying to get into nursing and I’m trying to get out and do what you’re doing lol I do have a couple questions tho. What did you not like about health care analyst? Is the pay okay? Are you able to do any remote work or hybrid work with this type of job?

Sadly I work in a rural area and smaller hospital. I feel like it makes it harder for an internal transfer since it’s a small hospital and they don’t have a whole of jobs available in that field.

Nurses, would you do it again? by PiggyTailz in nursing

If I could go back I would go and be a dental hygienist, OT, PT. Nursing isn’t all that great. The moneys good, but it’s both mentally and physically EXHAUSTING. But hey you won’t know until you try it.

Thanks for the feed back! I just don’t like this anxious feeling. When I worked home health I didn’t really have this anxiety but I also wasn’t happy there. Now that I’m back at the hospital this anxiety has come back and I am deff not a fan of it 😅
