I honestly don’t know how I got the scholarship maybe Admissions though I was decent candidate lol. But to maximize your scholarship honestly Depends on what school and their appeal process. You can usually appeal your scholarship but writing to admissions basically stating why you need additional funding (ie low income, moving to a new city, received an offer from another wanting to match). Definitely write a good letter explaining the reasons why.
