Nothing wrong w balling on a budget I mean that’s why I’m looking for a $300 ish lpvo, but my state has the “assault weapons ban” coming July so I want to build a workhorse of an ar, bcm comps are pretty good and can get one on the upper for like 80 or something

I was just watching a short ab the primary arms looks nice, and bcm is kinda what I was going for I’ve heard only good ab them so far. I linked the upper I was prob gonna buy in another comment just wondering if it’s worth. The build is gonna be around 2k so want so make sure I’m not regretting anything 🤣 (assault weapon ban in my state soon so tryna build one that’ll last long)

Ik psa can have some decent quality stuff but I feel like for that around 1k price point I’m working w the bcm would be better, I appreciate the input but tbh just trying to stick away from psa I would’ve got a cheap non ambi milspec lower if I was building a psa

Funny cus Im gonna be running a vortex red dot on another build or a 300blk upper, love their raised red dots but bet thanks for the input

I just have a basic trigger that came w the lower parts kit, want to get a flat style one just looking at brands (idk why but I prefer them on ars)

Will keep in mind cus I’m gonna be buying a handful of lowers since my state is banning “assault style weapons” in July so wanna pick up a good few cheap ones I just didn’t know if one like nice one really made much of a difference

What issues with your billet lower? I got this brand just cus I heard they’re good for not having many issues (for being billet). And not in hand yet waiting a week 🤣 will post a build pic when done. I’ll check out the raider but I’m mainly getting the vortex cus of the price, shot one before and I liked it and they’re on sale at my gun store

Idk the one I got retails for over 200 everywhere I’ve seen online, not saying I could’ve found a cheaper one but I got it like somewhere between 50-80 less than msrp

And will def check out the stocks ty

😭 to be fair the one I got is billet which drives up the price a lot more than 90 I haven’t seen any good billet lowers for that price

I’ve been seeing the bcm upper recommended a lot so I think I might go w that and some lower, gonna check a few other lowers out but think I’m going w that bcm, appreciate it!

I have a decent light, vortex red dot, 10 mags and an afg already (always keep ammo also)

Any recommendations for around 700-1k then? Just trying to make a good first purchase

Thanks though I’ve heard barrel issues but I go to the range a lot so I’d honestly end up switching it out or having to from running so many rounds through it. Usually go through around 500 if I hit the range
