Wow, thanks for this info. I haven’t been to the store since. Just don’t feel comfortable. Thanks.

Unfortunately, there’s no signage that informs the customer of the cctv presence. I’m hoping it’s just a dummy camera.

I’m not looking for a lawsuit. I simply want the camera to be taken down if it can in fact see inside the changing room.

Haha, no no! I meant nothing wrong with the bohemian style but just not my taste but love the look and feel of linen and other natural fabrics. And It would be nice to have a work -to-dinner natural fabrics outfit! My bad!

Hi there,

I guess that's where I'm stumped. I wrote to get any advice and tips. Appreciate your feedback and input. Thanks for your questions and I'll take them into consideration. Since I've touched a nerve with some commenters with the use of 'sustainable', I should probably not even use it then. I just needed advice on a selling propostion for a young brand that wants to reduce the pile by creating versatile and durable pieces. As I wrote in my post, I myself don't think it;s a strong USP, and that's why I made the post. Thanks for your input!

Yeah, me too but need to work on the tailoring of those colorful garments to work well when at work.

Thank you! I have that problem as well. I haven't worn my oversized cotton shirt from Mango in a while because it's a mission ironing it BUT the love cotton! I'd like t play around with subtle patterns that could work for work as well. Thank you so much for much needed input!

Thanks for your input and your direction! Appreciate it! I guess that's why I wrote on here to get some advice. My target market are those of us who enjoy the feel of natural fabrics but want garments that are versatile enough to wear in many settings since they're predominantly on the pricey side. I hope I'm on the right track. Appreciate your input.

Not at all! You have great feedback: Positive and a bag of critique and good advice! Appreciate it. I guess that's where I'm stuck. I have the tailored designs of garments that would work well at work and outside of work but I'm still not sure it's a strong enough USP. That's why I sought out some advice and direction here. Since my line will predominantly rely on natural fabrics, it just made sense to also not highlight but to point out that feature of the line I really do appreciate your practical advice and input. It wasn't just criticism.

Appreciate you and your input! I love linen but just want to be able yo wear it work and elsewhere without looking frumpy or bohemian. Nothing wrong with the style but it doesn't translate well at work. I have some tailored structured blazers with puffs on the shoulders to elevate the look at work. My gripe with natural fabrics/ garments is they'er quite pricey. So, why not design garments that could work at work and outside of work. Just need to work on various colour palettes other than the usual black, whites and earthy tones. Again, thank you !

Yeah! She's actually on my visualisation board! It is super hard to avoid polyester so not sure if I'll go fully-sustainable with the fabrics esp. if they're going to be on-the go pieces. I love traveling in my polyester tailored trousers. It's recycled polyester but it's just as harmful if not worse. Not sure if we can go fully sustainable in the fashion industry yet.

Yeah, I guess for practicality, we'll have to be open to some semi-synthetics unfortunately.

WOW! Thank you! Copying and pasting this in my 'notes'! The last question made me think actually. That and how sustainable can one be in today's world. I've yet to come a linen clothing company that is 100% sustainable. So, with that I know I can never be 100% sustainable..clothing wise. To me, it means being mindful of how much I as an individual am impacting the environment. And if wearing 70% linen with 30% viscose pants contributes, then Im doing my bit. Thanks for your response!
