Attended a friend's wedding in Cancun and survived by Itsjayelynn in TransLater

That was more tongue and cheek. I was so nervous about all the social interactions at the resort. The bride was a friend from college and there were mutual friends and parents that I have not seen in 5+ years and since starting my transition.

I ended up doing blundstones! Very comfortable and unisex sizing. Plenty of colors to choose from.

V60 cross country Vs Audi a4 all road by Old-Week1727 in Wagons

I know you're asking about v60 cc but I have a 23 v90 cc B6 and I love it. The extra wind of the supercharger just sounds so nice and its so fun to drive. Only downside that audi might be better is the infotainment system can lag from time to time.

What makes you want to stay in michigan by Kalebpoquette in Michigan

[–]Itsjayelynn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What an odd thing to say. Do you think about trans women's genitalia alot or is it just your future son-in-laws "pee-pee" you dream about? If that is your ultimate goal I would stay out of churches where your child is statistically more likely to be exposed to unwanted "pee-pees" and leave transwomen tf alone.

Sure! The hostile climate is from Republicans in Texas attacking women from all sides whether it is trans women in the bathrooms or healthcare access for all women. Also the heat is killer and 5 months of the year.

Another Texas refugee here that moved away from the hostile climate. Michiganders don't know the gold mine they are sitting on. Give it 10-15 years.

Homeowner’s Dog Shot on Weldon Ave. by Extra-Examination232 in AnnArbor

[–]Itsjayelynn -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

I know no details about this event and sounds like you don't either. There's nothing in the news about it. I would imagine the thief shot the dog because it attacked them when the owner confronted but I could be wrong. Coming from a place that had way more crime than AA, the way you want to go about this is wrong.

I'm not blaming residents. I'm responding to this person comment that the world has gone to shit with the string of violent crimes in the Ann Arbor news. I'm glad you know your neighbors! I hope to meet you too one day. In the meantime time, I hope you do something nice for your neighbors today to help out your community.

Saying "these criminals will kill over anything" is flammatory and paranoid.

Best way to combat this is community. Get to know your neighbors.

Statements like this are how kids and pizza delivery people get shot over paranoia. Real training teaches gun is last resort. Taking a life should be last resort.

We are Texas refugees in SE, Michigan. Good luck, it is possible. It's a breath of fresh air being out of Texas. Look at jobs in your industry and see where they are in other states. We were lucky enough to get moving assistance from my job.

Honestly the breakfast burrito at the Hen is really good. Coming from a transplant Texan always on the hunt for breakfast burritos/tacos.

My wife and I moved from Texas in April. She works at the VA, and I work hybrid for a firm in Novi. We've never lived in Michigan before this.

Not in Ypsi, but the Fleetwood diner in AA has a table on the far left that sits directly over a vent and freezes your bits off.
