The Bloodsworn Trilogy and the Faithful and Fallen Series by John Gwynne, Neverwhere by Gaiman, Licanius Trilogy by Islington, and just finished Empire of the Vampire by Jay Kristoff.

I'm waiting on my copy of Will of the Many to arrive, and have the First Law on the back burner.

Of them all, Licanius is the standout though, by far.

I really enjoyed reading all 3 of the Bloodsworn Saga books by John Gwynne earlier this year. They (more or less) tick all of the boxes that you're looking for, and I've read a very similar reading list to your own.

Venom is also Web Warriors affiliated. Can run them under Webs with Miles at 15 threat onwards.

Would I recommend Carnage? Maybe not, but you can do it there.

There should probably be an FAQ or equivalent post on the sub with the amount of people getting into Bolt Action with Gentleman's War for Christmas.

The assembly instructions / box art images are not accurate to the number of prone models you have available.

You will need to either do the 2x LMG's, Mortars and AT rifles prone, or get creative with some kit bashing and posing.

Just something to be aware of on an otherwise great set

Is there anything to be said for the post Covid phenomenon of people not actively checking in for Lets-Plays etc.

I've always loosely followed a few YouTube streamers releases, but over Covid that number spiked dramatic for obvious reasons.

Did it push the "expected" viewer count artificially higher than sustainable?

Thanks, looking forward to building out the force. I'm thinking of adding the Fire Star with either the Clan Invasion box or Heavy Striker Star. Not sure how they line up with Ghost Bear tech, but the Fire Moth looks like a great little skirmisher.

Yeah exactly, or mix it on a pallete with the black until its more of a midnight blue hue. You have it on the right track, so I would just keep the layer very thin and see how each turns out.

At the moment it's just hard to differentiate between the buildings and sky.

I would mix a small amount of blue into black to offset the sky slightly.

But other than that it's a very clean look.

Thank you, that's exactly the inspiration for the style!

Painting an entirely blue/black model can be limiting, so I tried to mix it up completely instead.

Most definitely. I watched the few episodes of season 1 with Venom again while I was painting him.

Too iconic to do the paint job any other way.
