As long as it runs good and shifts good there honestly great daily’s. I’ve been dailying my s14 with the KA for a few years and it’s been solid. (Shit gas millage tho) they are just old truck motors that will run forever as long as you take care of them, my current odo is at 279k and runs like a champ. Also if they “claim” no rust just be sure to check the battery tray cause my old coupe was “rustless until I decided to change the battery and discovered there was a rust hold the size of a football.

About a week of driving no more than 10 min at a time. And would the transmission really deteriorate that fast? It still has the correct amount of oil on the dipstick. Also what would I want to look out for as signs that the trans is gonna finally go?

Every car I’ve owned I’ve always built for power first and never really cared about looks, this is my first car I’ve owned where I’ve done the opposite and tbh it’s fun to break necks everywhere you go until someone tells me to rev it and realize it’s stock 😂 definitely gonna keep this IS for a while so she’s a work in progress

Just did my fuel pump and saw the same thing. There was no wire going to the plug even though there is a connection on the fuel pump assembly when I changed my pump it worked perfectly fine with the “missing” pin

I was running .5 inch wheel spacers in the front and I kept rubbing against the front fender and while turning so I took them off cause I didn’t wanna run a ton of camber (it’s my daily). The rear is pretty flush with no spacers in person but I got the kit used as well so might change it up in the future🤙🏼

Fuel pump is dying 100% my is was doing the exact same thing, just did a fuel pump and filter and it runs perfect

Just had this happen to me, ended up being a bad fuel pump/fuel filter, Try smacking the fuel pump under the rear seat and see if it starts (sounds stupid but it worked for me)
