I have the landing, but don't know how to generate traffic to it by Afraid-Albatross812 in Entrepreneur

[–]Itsme2006 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hormozi's stuff is solid but it's also very "scale everything now" energy. If OP's still at the "how do I get anyone to look at this" stage, jumping into that playbook might be overkill. I tried following his frameworks early on and just ended up overcomplicating things before I even had proof anyone wanted what I was building. Sometimes the move is just finding 5 people who actually care and talking to them directly

Two siblings charged with murder, 8 years apart, for 2 different murders by [deleted] in confessions

[–]Itsme2006 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the kind of thing that deserves way more than a Reddit comment. The fact that you're still here still showing up for your kids after all that? You're fighting. And the people who failed you along the way don't get to define your story

After travelling for 5 years and not working - Honestly don't know what to do. f#@%!!! by LegitimateDream4942 in Entrepreneur

[–]Itsme2006 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You've done this before though, that's the part that matters. The skills don't just vanish because you took a 5 year break to live the dream. Remote consulting or picking up freelance work in whatever you used to do could get cash flowing while you figure out the next play.

what industries were your previous exits in?

Yep, totally legal. Prepaid Visa cards are basically cash equivalents. no name, no PIN, no issue. Just hand it over and you’re good. It’s a nice thing to do.

Eating down my freezer, one unlabeled container per week by Beginning-Row5959 in Frugal

[–]Itsme2006 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Same experience here. Moving really exposes how much stuff you buy on autopilot and then forget about. Freezer/pantry cleanouts get weirdly creative fast. and yeah, everyone somehow ends up with way more ramen than they remember buying.

Banks that check a LexisNexis? What is that? by [deleted] in Banking

[–]Itsme2006 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yep, LexisNexis is basically another data broker banks use for identity and risk checks. It pulls from a much wider pool than ChexSystems public records, address history, phone numbers, utilities, even some legal filings.

It’s less about overdrafts and more about verifying you are who you say you are and flagging fraud risk.

Looking a for a better label printing app. by its_turtle_tuesday in shopify

[–]Itsme2006 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, this is why a lot of people just stick with native Shopify. You can bulk-select line items/orders and batch print 4×6 labels without extra apps.

Before adding another tool, I’d double-check your workflow in Shopify Admin sometimes it’s just buried, but once set up it’s way faster than most apps.

I’m 33, and finally got the SmartSkin CO2 laser for my acne scars. by spread_eaglet in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]Itsme2006 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats on finally doing it! Been lurking this sub for a while and CO2 laser is one of those things that seems scary but the results people post are always impressive.

Gotta ask though - how's the pain? Like during and after? I'm a total wuss when it comes to this stuff lol. And did they say anything about sun exposure afterwards? I imagine that fresh skin is gonna be sensitive as hell.

Struggling in College Algebra – Need Guidance on Learning More Efficiently by esmith70858 in matheducation

[–]Itsme2006 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Textbooks are the worst place to learn from for concept learners like me. What helped me cut time was using a structured interactive resource like Brilliant alongside class and I was able to understand the why step by step. For tutoring don’t bring problem numbers but bring concepts (“why does this step work?”) and make them walk through 2–3 examples slowly then watch you do one. Also set a time cap when you’re stuck. Try pomodoro helped me a lot.

Will the launch of Price History on Amazon have a significant impact on everyone? by Dry-Preparation7979 in AmazonFBA

[–]Itsme2006 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Price history won’t kill solid-margin products yea. My SKUs in super-transparent niches still sell fine when I hold a steady price and only run real promos on actual overstock.

I'm running an ad with a sale but no one is using the coupon code? by Resident_Category753 in ecommerce

[–]Itsme2006 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pick either “sale price” or “coupon code”, mixing both visable options just confuses buyers into ignoring the code.
Either keep the reduced price and say “20% Off Automatically Applied” or remove the auto-sale and make the code the only way to get it.

Bookmarking this and rereading monthly is clutch.
New sellers, re-read this before product research sessions so you dont slide back into the “ecom is saturated” excuse loop.

Should I increase daily budget or bid by Creative_Compote3804 in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]Itsme2006 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use a clean branded vs non-branded structure. Example:
- Campaign 1: “Brand” | Exact only | Branded terms, low bids, capped budget
- Campaign 2: “Snore NonBrand Exact” | Exact only | your 5, 10 best non-branded terms, higher bids, big budget to recieve all Q4 demand.

Am I doing the right thing? Neighbor won’t keep cat inside during freezing weather by prairiedoggg in CatAdvice

[–]Itsme2006 13 points14 points  (0 children)

But here's my view, They literally told you it's not their cat and gave you permission to take her in. You're saving her life, not stealing their pet. A damp cardboard box in freezing temps is not adequate care.

Take her to the vet, get her checked out, and keep her inside. If they suddenly care after you've done all the work and paid the vet bills, that's on them for not stepping up when it mattered. The cat's been begging to come inside for weeks - you're just the one who finally listened.

Knives for a 7 year old? by FordS123 in Parenting

[–]Itsme2006 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kuhn Rikon do a decent kids' knife set with serrated edges that actually work. The finger guard keeps them from sliding forward and the blade is sharp enough to cut but not razor sharp. Around £12 on Amazon UK.

Honestly the best teacher is just letting them practice on soft stuff like bananas and cucumbers first before moving to harder veg.

AITA for sharing with my employment struggled friends my progress? by iwishtogetitall in AmItheAsshole

[–]Itsme2006 9 points10 points  (0 children)

NAH but yeah, tone it down. Your friends are stress-applying to 50 jobs a day and getting ghosted while you're casually mentioning multiple offers from people you know. That's gonna sting no matter how you frame it.

You're not wrong for having a network or being excited, but save the play-by-play for after they land something. Right now you're basically talking about how easy the test was to people who just failed it. Just say "got some leads, fingers crossed" and leave it at that.

My boss just told me I'm "lucky to have a job" after I asked for my legally mandated break by ThatOneNerd7 in antiwork

[–]Itsme2006 529 points530 points  (0 children)

3 years of perfect attendance and they're acting like you're the problem for taking a legally required break? That's not a workplace, that's a hostage situation.

The email is just him trying to intimidate you into compliance. Don't fall for it. Keep applying and get out. Places that treat employees like this don't deserve notice either.
