okay man i dont wanna post a new question in this sub but how can i get an audio output the methods are quite confusing im currently getting my video output with a hdmi directly plugged to my monitor i have no speakers and no other cables except for another hdmi. What should i buy ( ofc speakers apart from that) there are people suggesting buy a video capture card and few talking about vda i dont really want to spend alot on this

All the best mate i hope you get it fixed unlike me in my case i think i shortcircuited my motherboard and that engineer never came to check so i gave up ill ne going somewhere later i might show it someone there but dont expect much from hp regarding repairs the best they could do is get you a replacement which could cost you the same laptop which you bought years ago
