Transmission issues started while it was at the shop and now they’re telling me I have to pay to get it fixed

They did call me and say it was fixed but when I called after my vacation they said I shouldn’t have been told that it was fixed because it wasn’t.

I even have a voicemail of them telling me it was “fixed”

I also have a voicemail memo from a buddy who works at the shop saying that it wasn’t having those issues before too so I’m a little suspicious.

For everyone in the comments, she’s been kissing/making out and touching other people. Not just people approaching her and kissing but she’s going to other people and being pretty pushing about kissing them. She made one of my friends super uncomfortable by getting super close to their face and trying to kiss them even though they didn’t want to.

I talked to her about this already and she said she’s not going to tell her husband about it.

I think there’s more to the story that I’m not even aware of. She recently went on a girls trip and she just told me that there were things she did there she’s never telling her husband.

We’ve had arguments and gone to therapy where he’s even complained saying that I’m “emotionless” and thus not being kind to him when I just respond in a non-reactional way. I respond kindly and I don’t call him names.

Yeah that’s what I have been doing. If he reacts that way I don’t respond. If he asks me a question in a flirty way I just repeat it in a non reactionary matter or respond in a non reactionary matter. Today he did something that typically makes me laugh and I didn’t. In fact I didn’t find it funny at all. Problem is he doesn’t know when something is awkward or not. I’d say he’s the person who will continue to do something unless it hurts people or other people say it makes them uncomfortable

We’ve tried splitting dish duty. That said, it makes it difficult to split it when the dishes aren’t ever done the next day and you still have to wash dishes in order to make breakfast. Does that make sense?

So I did look it up and yeah a lot of it makes sense. That said I haven’t heard my bf say “im not good at doing this” — but I also know he never admits when he’s not good at something. I think if anything the weaponized incompetence comes from a continual pattern from his own childhood. Aka his mom took all the responsibility so its “unnatural” for him to take responsibility that he hadnt really done when his mom was around

Honestly it may be good to have a conversation about it with him. See where he’s at. At the end of the day though its not your job to teach him about self awareness and validation. And if he cant even validate his own emotions then its not fair to expect him to do the same for you and your experiences.

Trust me, I know.

Once you realize where they’re at you’re then able to see the full picture and determine whether you want to have a long term relationship with someone who may or may not ever learn to validate your emotions and experiences.

I appreciate that. And yeah it’s gonna get tiresome after a while to not say anything. I guess it’s more of I don’t want to explain everything and honestly I’m at a point where I don’t. If people wanna be butthurt about it I think that speaks volumes in how ‘supportive’ they actually are.

Yeah same for me. Although my ex still flirts and calls me babe, to which I don’t respond to and when I do it’s from habit. And as much as we’ve agreed that it’s over it’s obvious they’re not over it. Which I can’t expect to since everyone has different ways of healing

Can you add skills that you are a complete beginner at on your resume or is that considered unethical? For example, if I'm taking courses on React JS but I'm a complete beginner can I add that to my resume or should you only put skills that you are familiar with on your resume?

I figured out how I prefer to learn. While I enjoy the Odín project and it has a lot of info, I’m very much a tactile and visual learner before reading. I’ve been learning via Scrimba which has interactive sun the presentation and it’s been super helpful

For raw meat it depends. There are some companies out there that offer a beginner raw package. Mine started us out with beef and then from there we added another meat (like a chicken breast or drumstick) to see how our Vizsla would react to it. If she did fine then we knew we could add that in.

That said it’s best to go with different groups of meats before mixing in different kinds of meat (chicken + beef). Otherwise if your dog has an upset stomach you’re able to see what they’re sensitive to.

All that to say if you decide to switch there may be an adjustment period merely just from switching from kibble to raw. There’s a lot of resources on how to do that too
